Don’t change your FR name - I associate your Name with a paisano - as my wife’s family is (her maiden name ends with “io”) .
My Father-in-law is an old school Italian - my wife says he was impressed when I went to him to ask if I could marry his daughter ( explained how I could make her happy and ‘take care of her’)...
Last thought - he carries a weapon everywhere - no $hit from anyone...

I was always a local boy like my pop was.
Regret that now. It is what it is.
That was the good thing to do, asking her father. You are what we would call a stand up guy around here.
And yeah, those old school Italians were brutally tough, like my pop and his brothers.
Some of them were in the rackets. But that was their business. They were good to my mom after pop died.
