I admire that you have seen the states.
I was always a local boy like my pop was.
Regret that now. It is what it is.
That was the good thing to do, asking her father. You are what we would call a stand up guy around here.
And yeah, those old school Italians were brutally tough, like my pop and his brothers.
Some of them were in the rackets. But that was their business. They were good to my mom after pop died.

Since we been living in MD. my wife loves the Jersey Shore - that is where she sees the “Guidos” she might have married -
On a side note - don’t marry a 5’2” Italian woman unless you’re ready to marry the family.. Trust me...
