The word “struggling,” doesn’t seem to be strong enough to describe what has happened to the ratings for NBC’s Sunday Night Football and ESPN’s Monday Night Football.
Sunday Night Football’s Patriots-Ravens game last weekend was down a whopping 31 percent over last year’s Week 10 game become the season’s least-watched Sunday game, according to Sports Media Watch.
“Ratings have dropped for all 11 NFL games on NBC this season, with viewership down for all-but-one,” SMW reported.

On average it takes 21 days (3 weeks) to form a new habit.
Millions of people have formed new habits and hobbies to replace the NFL. Fans they will never get back.
Sports bars....for at least three decades, were tied into Monday night being a money-maker during the NFL season. You’d fill up a place...sell tons of food and beer. For some of these places...the Monday night NFL games probably made up 10-percent of their yearly total income. I doubt if they even make half of that now.
Haven’t watched any games this year. Only check out the box scores.
I used to watch NFL, rarely missed a game during the regular season and for sure watched every playoff game. Never missed a Super Bowl.
This season I could not tell you which team is leading or losing. I’ve lost all touch with the game. I doubt I will ever be back.
You mean the ones that are allowed to be open and filled to whatever capacity they choose?
