Nolte: Be Prepared for Democrats to Cancel Christmas

There was all this talk before the election from people on the right who believed the hysteria over the coronavirus pandemic would end after the election. I never really bought that. It made sense that people believed that. After all, it was blatantly obvious, especially with mail-in voting, that Democrats and their media allies were exploiting the China virus for political advantage.

To me, though, this political exploitation went deeper than just a presidential election. Softening us up, getting us used to being locked down, slow boiling us into accepting the normalcy of a governor conjuring up the power to pretty much declare martial law without the authority of the legislature, seemed to me to be the real goal here.

I get what he means, but they can cancel church services, Thanksgiving (which was about God before the left got hold of it), and Christmas celebrations, but they can never cancel the gospel of Christ.

Seriously, I suppose, on some level, the devil tried to keep Christ from being born...didn’t/couldn’t happen. Christmas came and Christmas will come just the same.

The Biden-Harris ticket was actually the Covid-Harris-Biden ticket. Last night, Tucker Carlson played clips from a Bloomberg-sponsored gathering of pro-Biden globalists. One after another, they chillingly referred to the pandemic as an "opportunity," just as "climate change" and systemic racism" would be used in a Biden administration to justify Draconian restrictions on personal freedoms that would never survive the democratic process.

And, of course, they were eagerly welcoming China back into the fold and denouncing "unilateralism" (national sovereignty) and "protectionism" (policies which protect the workers in your own country).

It already happened. Christ came with his message of Grace.
All you have to do to celebrate is say “Thank you.”

Excuse me but no one will listen to the democRATS if they try to cancel Christmas. It is a religious holiday that transcends liberal politics.

For one thing, they aren't in charge of Christmas.

And for another thing, the birth of Christ has been celebrated long before the earth ever heard of democRATS.

I can imagine they will try but it will fail like everything else they do.

They won’t cancel Christmas explicitly. They will criminalize behaviors that are essential to Christmas. Like dept store Santa Clauses, travel, gatherings and church services. And they will have eliminated Christmas, which was their original intention.
