Nevada’s Republican Party announced a new election contest on Tuesday to “throw out fraud and ensure election integrity,” citing a slew of alleged voting irregularities that include claims of evidence that 15,000 people who voted in Nevada also voted in another state.
The election contest (pdf), filed in Carson City District Court by Nevada Electoral College candidates who pledged to President Donald Trump, is contesting the results of the presidential election in Nevada. It alleges “substantial irregularities, improprieties, and fraud” that occurred in the election, and that Nevada election officials put in effect an election system that was “highly susceptible to fraud and abuse.”
“Evidence will show that the nature and scale of that fraud and abuse renders the purported results of the Nevada election illegitimate,” the lawsuit read.
Former Nevada Attorney General and Trump campaign Nevada Co-Chair Adam Laxalt said that the lawsuit alleges many mail-in votes were “improperly cast.”
“We are presenting today in our formal contest, that there are north of 15,000 people who voted in Nevada and another state. We are presenting that people that had already done a change of address and left the state outside of the 30 day requirement, their ballots were still cast. We are also presenting dead voters,” he told a news conference on Tuesday.
He took issue with Clark County’s system whereby a complaint has to be lodged in order for an issue to be investigated regarding contested vote. “I will only leave one example: If someone has died, and that ballot was mailed to someone’s home, and someone voted that ballot, who is going to complain about that vote cast?
If we can find tens of thousands of fraudulent votes, how do we know that there aren't many more that we haven't found?
This whole election is tainted. and so is our election system.
RE: If we can find tens of thousands of fraudulent votes, how do we know that there aren’t many more that we haven’t found?
I wrote this in other threads, but it’s worth reposting here...
There are two questions that we must be asking:
1) Was there fraud in this election?
2) Was the fraud massive and sufficient to hand the election to Joe Biden?
Here’s the thing — Evidence is CUMULATIVE — The Dead Voting, Statistical improbability, Dominion Software moving votes from Trump to Biden, hundreds of sworn testimonies, newly discovered discarded ballots by the thousands, thousands of votes with ONLY Biden being chosen and no other candidates for congress, senate or local elections, Democrats losing 12 House seats and most local elections with ONLY Trump losing to Biden ( an election with coatttails but no coat?), etc. — ALL OF THEM FAVORING BIDEN.
So, in regards to the first question — ABSOLUTELY.
So, In regards to the second question: Was the fraud sufficient to hand the election to Joe Biden?
THAT is extremely difficult to prove short of a statewide AUDIT.
The one factor that has the potential to shift votes by the hundreds of thousands from Biden to Trump is the software used to tabulate the votes. Sidney Powell has been on top of this from the get go.... she better deliver because answering the second question very tough.
The evidence presented has to be SOLID ENOUGH to justify state wide audits and recounts ( re-vote even ).
But as I said before, we have a deadline, Electors have to convene by Middle of December. So,even if we could finally prove SUFFICIENT fraud to overturn the results, it can only be done IN HINDSIGHT.
You can’t convince me that there was no fraud everywhere by giving me a one line dismissal like the media always do. We have reams of information of fraud discovered but I don’t want to waste this thread on posting link after link of what I’ve read. I would have to be delusional to ignore all of them, many of them coming from SWORN testimonies. You can dismiss a few as nutcases, but to dismiss ALL of the them strains credulity.
Having said this, here’s what I think will happen ( feel free to disagree ). I am reposting what someone said in another thread:
And there’s a difference between REAL JUSTICE and GETTING AWAY WITH IT.
OJ Simpson escaped justice by being declared innocent of the murder of his wife. That still does not say that he was not guilty. It simply means he got away with it.
Likewise. I would probably expect our court system to set a high bar for proof that the fraud was massive enough to make a difference.
But in terms of real justice, it seems to me that if you can verify that one party cheated in a many different ways (and I think this is easy to verify) then I don’t see why quantity should really matter.
Let’s say Joe Biden won a state by 20,000 votes. And then we verify that 15,000 of those votes were bogus. Okay. So what? Joe still won the state, right? He’s got 5000 more votes! But did you find ALL of the fraud? It’s like proving a negative. You cannot be sure you found all of the fraud. Maybe you missed 10,000 additional bogus ballots. Maybe Trump won the state by 5000 votes.
I’m not really comfortable with a court decision which basically says, “Yeah, Biden cheated his ass off. Hoo boy! Never seen such cheating in all my life. But, [shrug] it probably didn’t really matter. He probably really won anyway. So, we’ll just let his little plan succeed.”
That’s not justice.
But sadly, that’s what’s gonna happen.
