You don’t need to have comorbidities to be hospitalized from COVID. A coworker of my brother’s got it. Healthy, reasonably young man. He was hospitalized for 2 weeks and still felt weak and run down 2 months later.
As a healthy 30 year old I don’t think I would drop dead from it, but neither am I buying the story that it would just be a case of the sniffles for someone like me. I like my body the way it is, without blood clots or lung damage, so I’m opting out of this herd immunity experiment the “masters of the universe” are pushing on us young’uns.
Over 50 here - this is my first day out of quarantine. I feel great - I tested positive for COVID as well as the two people I was exposed to. This was the mildest head-cold/flu I have ever contracted.

No disrespect but I am telling you that I HAD it and it was no big deal. Secondly, was the friend-in-law also infected with the flu or some other illness? Probably, but we'll never know because that person was never tested for it.
Don't believe the hype because it is killing this country.
There is no way the Flu just magically went away starting last Winter.
‘so I’m opting out of this herd immunity experiment the “masters of the universe” are pushing on us young’uns.’
well, enjoy your facemask for the next fifty years; I, statistically, have five years left, and I’ll ditch my mask, if that’s ok with you...
80% of the population already has an immunity to the Wuhan.
Those are the ones that are asymptomatic or show light symptoms. Probably due to the Wuhan being related to other common viruses. That figure has been reported by different research agencies.
You misunderstand the term “herd immunity”. Herd immunity is reached when a sufficient percentage of members are immune to a specific disease to prevent wide spread infection. The percentage required is variable to the disease (how infectious (as in gain of function), the social concentration of the herd, and general health of the herd members.
Immunity can come from an inherent immunity, getting and recovering from the disease, or a vaccine.
Herd immunity is a condition, not an experiment.
