Sen. Bernie Sanders claimed that Americans widely embrace a 'far-left agenda,' noting support for increasing the minimum wage and expanded healthcare.
The Vermont lawmaker made the remarks to CNN's Jake Tapper on Sunday during an appearance on State of the Union, in which he also confessed that he'd be willing to join the Biden-Harris administration.
While speaking about implementing President-elect Joe Biden's progressive policies, Sanders recalled how their two teams met before the election to determine key issues.

How many homesteads do these two “public servants” have combined?
In some communities, $15 per hour is at the top of the wage scale. A person who has worked years to gain pay at that level through merit performance will need to be moved up accordingly. The entire effect will be wage inflation that causes price inflation. Those who buy into it are the same folks who would buy that bridge in Brooklyn.
Bernie and these ‘believers’ will continue down this path until the following year where the $15 per hour pay is cleared of smoke. Then they will grasp that several hundred thousand Americans have been dismissed (now unemployed), and that the cost of living has gone up now...to the point that $15 per hour won’t be enough in three years. Then the $17.50 routine will start to be openly discussed. By 2030, people making $40k a year will be considered within the poverty circle.
Most Americans claim Sanders is an idiot.
You know I used to be for minimum wage way back then, however that is until I was challenged by it by a business management professor, fiscal to the right friends and eventually studied it myself and while some who support it make some points, the problems are not even worth it. Hate to also say it too, some jobs are not worth that amount, I have said it for the while that if people want more pay, you have to increase your value in the job market.
Florida passed a âÂÂconstitutional amendmentâ setting the minimum wage at $15 / hr. Already seeing small businesses freaking out in new last stories casting them as heartless. We live in sick times.
I didn’t think Bernie was that stupid.
After seeing what happened and is happening to the House elections, you would have to be Stevie Wonder not to realize that the socialist agenda is not appealing.
Even a democrat rep from VA, Spanberger, admitted that voters do NOT want Bernie’s world. She won by the skin of her teeth and maybe with more scrutiny, maybe she did NOT win at all. Maybe VA will take a look at some “wins.”
Would they still taxes or not?
Would they still pay taxes or not?
Pity nobody thought to take video of what the Fight for 15 has done to NYS and show it down there.
Do you suppose that vote could have been stolen, too?
This is starting to look like an attemp to kill Florida’s economy and take out DeSantis.
Kill the cruise industry, Jack the minimum wage...
Florida’s economy is going to get hammered.
"Sen. Bernie Sanders claimed, without any evidence, that Americans widely embrace a 'far-left agenda,' noting support for increasing the minimum wage and expanded healthcare." There, fixed it.
Socialism is good for the socialists
But alas, I don't think Bernie will get his wish.
Biden and the democRATS's failed coup d'etat have thwarted that idea.
Bernie wants to be the Secretary of Labor in the Biden administration.
This irony from a guy who's never worked a real job in his entire life.
It’s an easy win for the liberals because it appeals to low information voters. If you weren’t plugged into basic economics you wouldn’t know this initiative kills industry where it’s implemented.
FWIW, I think they know. They’re just in denial.
Sigh.
Bernie Sanders claims majority of Americans support a ‘far-left agenda
This MEGA LOON communist belongs in a padded cell.
