In some communities, $15 per hour is at the top of the wage scale. A person who has worked years to gain pay at that level through merit performance will need to be moved up accordingly. The entire effect will be wage inflation that causes price inflation. Those who buy into it are the same folks who would buy that bridge in Brooklyn.

You know I used to be for minimum wage way back then, however that is until I was challenged by it by a business management professor, fiscal to the right friends and eventually studied it myself and while some who support it make some points, the problems are not even worth it. Hate to also say it too, some jobs are not worth that amount, I have said it for the while that if people want more pay, you have to increase your value in the job market.

Florida passed a “constitutional amendment” setting the minimum wage at $15 / hr. Already seeing small businesses freaking out in new last stories casting them as heartless. We live in sick times.
