Hey there, Kathy.

It was a beautiful day here. Sunny and 70 degrees with a stiff breeze. Still pretty nice outside but a cold front is coming through during the wee hours to cool us off for the next several days.
Not nearly as cold as you’re going to be dealing with though! I hear your temps are going to drop like a stone. BRRRRRR

Doesn’t it though???? It’s not been pretty weather up there that past few days. Lots of snow and fog.

Pretty to look at on the live cam but I’m glad it’s there and not here! LOL

Hi! It got up to about 81 today and LOTS of wind. Ugh. But the high tomorrow is only supposed to be 66, so it's still a roller coaster. 🎢

I was out today for a haircut, so went in and did my scanning today, picked up my Walmart online shopping order, right next door to the office, and stopped at Mexico In Alaska for take out. A VERY successful day. d:o) Lots of work tomorrow, tho.

We were about 10 degrees cooler than y’all were. Breezy but it felt good. The cold front that gave you all that wind is on it’s way here and will blow through overnight. Most of Middle TN is under a wind advisory but not us. We’ll have wind with the front but not bad.

Glad you got the scanning taken care of, especially since you didn’t get to go in last Sunday. That’s out of the way now.
I guess you have plenty to keep you busy tomorrow to get yourself ready for Hell Week.

We supposedly had gusts up to 45mph, and I’m sure it got close to that.Blech!

That’s apparently similar to what they expect in TN since they issued an advisory. We’re one of the three counties that are left out of it but we’ll probably get some decent wind here.

Hope it doesn’t get too bad and knock limbs from the trees. The cooler weather won’t be a bad thing. Ours will be cooler tomorrow and then back into the 70s for the rest of the week.

Since we aren’t under the advisory, we shouldn’t have any problems with tree damage. Since FR will be down, and it’s nice outside, I might go out and walk around the farm a bit to enjoy the breezy weather. It felt good when I stepped out a little earlier.

Our highs will be in the 50s and 60s next week. Nights will be cold but highs won’t be bad at all.

GOD BLESS AND PROTECT OUR TROOPS AND OUR BELOVED NATION!

Amazing Grace
(Click)

By John Newton

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!

Through many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promised good to me,
His Word my hope secures;
He will my Shield and Portion be,
As long as life endures.

Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, Who called me here below,
Will be forever mine.

When we've been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we'd first begun.

"I VOW TO THEE, my country, all earthly things above,
Entire and whole and perfect, the service of my love;
The love that asks no question, the love that stands the test,
That lays upon the altar the dearest and the best;
The love that never falters, the love that pays the price,
The love that makes undaunted the final sacrifice.

And there's another country, I've heard of long ago,
Most dear to them that love her, most great to them that know;
We may not count her armies, we may not see her King;
Her fortress is a faithful heart, her pride is suffering;
And soul by soul and silently her shining bounds increase,
And her ways are ways of gentleness, and all her paths are peace."
