Hi Everybody!
(((HUGS)))
|
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...a Blessed Lord’s Day and Shavua Tov to you and yours.
Still have nice weather? You and Penny getting out for nice walks?
We have a beautiful coat of fresh snow and it’s storybook picture time outside.
Shavua Tov.
Wishing all our Jewish troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
a peaceful and prosperous week.
Prayers for our troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
for a safe and peaceful week ahead.
He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.
Today was chilly but nice!
Penny and I had some nice walking!
Good evening, my, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Thanks for the tunes.
How’s your weather? Cold? Snow?
Bible in a Year:
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
As an adult leader, I arranged a student field trip to an obstacle course. We instructed students to slip into safety gear and scale an eight-foot wall. Those who went first encouraged each climber to trust the harness and keep moving forward without looking down. One of our students stared at the barrier as we secured belts and buckles around her waist. Theres no way I can do this, she said. Affirming the strength of her harness, we encouraged her and cheered when she climbed up the wall and stepped onto the high platform.
When we face problems that seem impossible to conquer, fears and insecurities can cause doubts. The assurance of Gods unchanging might, goodness, and faithfulness creates a strong harness of trust. This confident assurance fueled the courage of the Old Testament saints, who demonstrated that faith trumps our need to know every detail of Gods plan (Hebrews 11:113, 39). With conviction, we seek God earnestly, often standing alone when we trust Him. We can adjust the way we approach our challenges by viewing our circumstances with an eternal perspectiveknowing our trials are only temporary (vv. 1316).
Focusing on the steep climbs in life can prevent us from believing that God will bring us through. But knowing Hes with us, we can harness our uncertainties by faith as we trust God to help us overcome obstacles that once seemed impossible. Reflect & Pray
How can you become more courageous in the face of an impossible task? How do you feel when youve accomplished something you didnt think you could do?
Father, thank You for being the Author and Perfecter of my faith, so that the measure of my faith when I face obstacles is reliant on Your strength, not my own.
It’s about the same as tx right now.
Greetings to all at the Canteen!
To all our military men and women, past and present,
