Take the money. Buy 2.5 more acres.
Eminent Domain and a lifetime supply of birdseed for the local birds
Build a birdbath onsite too.
Like birds really give a flying F.
Animals adapt, they are not sensitive wussies.
May the Bird of Paradise fly up their nose.
So build the fence around it with only one pedestrian gate.

Its probably mostly a glorified dirt parking lot - just big enough to pasture a single horse.
They describe it like it was Yellowstone National Park.
This is a good example of why I don’t listen to these types
of folks.
No need to do anything other that steer the illegals right through the preserve and let the border crosses take of the rest. The damage, the trash the crime will soon have them begging to sell,

2.5 Acres ? My lawn is bigger than that.
Condemn the property because of national emergency needs. Is this a retired elderly bird sanctuary ? Can’t the birds fly or do they have to use walkers?
