The congresswoman-elect expanded on what that "anti-socialist squad" may look like in her chat with City&State.
Your mother was born in Cuba, and youd be one of what looks like ten Cuban-Americans in Congress. Have you talked with any of them yet? And in office, do you expect to get involved with foreign policy?
Senator Marco Rubio supported me, as did Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart, a Cuban-American from Miami. I know Maria Elvira Salazar, who was just elected, also representing Miami, and I also met Carlos Giménez, whos the mayor (of Miami-Dade County), now elected (to the House) also on Tuesday. Theres going to be a Cuban Caucus there. I think its important, because Cuban-Americans know more than anyone what socialism and communism mean and are very vigilant when it comes to individuals who want to take away any freedoms or liberties or move us down a path to socialism. Our voices are going to be significant. We may have a little anti-socialist squad forming in Congress.

Micro Rubio and Diaz-Balart are Cheap Labor Express stooges, let’s hope she isn’t another one.
Took HER to school on that one!!
Nicole is tough.
She’s held positions on Staten Island for a while and she doesn’t screw around.
“the squad” will be hit hard.
Embarrassing. All it means is that republican men need women to stand up for them.
And skirts to hide behind.
It’s like B.J. hiding behind the skirts of Hillary and Janet Reno whenever he got in trouble. But then he was POTUS. We’re now outside looking in.
That was my first thought as well.
I’m guessing the collective IQ of the anti socialist squad will probably be calculably larger than the socialist squad by a factor of 10 or so.
“...Cuban-Americans know more than anyone what socialism and communism mean...”
Yes they do. But how it’s handled in a rich American versus a poor Cuba is a different angle. And with the Cuban blue print, it may just be another minority group trying to get a bigger piece of the pie. We all saw how the “republicans” bailed on Trump. Don’t think history can’t repeat itself. Too much of government now is in it for themselves even over the prosperity of their voters. That is pretty obvious with this election result.
And consider this, when a minority group, that encompasses less than 14% of the populous, can change the entire world with lies about a problem that is not changing at all with their efforts as it was never supposed to, what’s another group with some good PR. And if you don’t think it isn’t world wide, I watched the US/ Wales soccer game from England, yesterday, and right before kickoff, all the players went to one knee for 10 seconds. All of them, both countries. Of course I turned it off then. But it impressed me when a group of men from another country, in an empty stadium, would do that when England has been one of the most radical racial countries in the world. So it was done for the cameras. And what did it accomplish....nothing except lower the appearance of success and invincibility. Fasten your seat belts, it’s going to be a bumpy night.....soon.
