Burgess Owens one step closer to victory…

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah’s only Democrat in Congress, Rep. Ben McAdams, continued to trail his Republican challenger, Burgess Owens, in the 4th Congressional District after Salt Lake County released the latest ballot count Wednesday.

Owens’ lead fell from 1,780 votes on Tuesday to 1,697 votes Wednesday after Salt Lake County posted new numbers that put the former NFL player, author and frequent Fox News guest ahead of the first-term congressman, 47.5% to 47.03%.

The race, considered one of the nation’s most competitive, remains too close to call with an unspecified number of additional ballots in the 4th District to be counted from the largely by-mail election on Nov. 3. Salt Lake County, where most of the district’s voters live, is expected to release another update Thursday afternoon.

The district also includes portions of Utah, Sanpete and Juab counties. There were no new vote totals reported from any of those counties Wednesday, but Juab may be done counting and Utah County officials have said they’ll have additional numbers on Friday

Mark Koval @stateoftheraces · Nov 11, 2020 Replying to @stateoftheraces Projection: Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-Iowa) has defeated Rita Hart (D) in #IA02. By an updated 47 vote margin, this race is all but certain to go to a recount.

Republicans pickup this seat held by outgoing Rep. Dave Loebsack (D). Mark Koval @stateoftheraces Projection: Burgess Owens (R-Utah) defeats freshman incumbent Rep. Ben McAdams (D) in #UT04. Utah’s delegation to Congress will be completely dominated by Republicans.

Yet another likely TWO pickups in The House. Both black. Good news is ,there is very little ballot fraud in Iowa and Utah. This is not Philadelphia. Dems only usually win close races with massive ballot fraud.

You can bet, as we speak, the Rats will come up with enough votes by Friday to beat Owens in a squeaker.

Races are always too close to call until the Dem gets the lead.

Right now we are looking at a possible 5 seat majority for Pelosi with at least 15 Dems in districts that Trump won.

Utah’s delegation to Congress will be completely dominated by Republicans.

Not unless Mitt the $#*+ gets a cabinet appointment by Joe Bidet.

I read most of his book. It was good, though not brilliant (editing and proofreading were abysmal). That said, he is a very good man who speaks better than he writes (I heard him on Glenn Beck, which is why I bought the book, not realizing the Mormon connection.) We need more Burgess Owens-types, and fewer Romneys from Utah. He should have the seat for life, unless he wants the Senate or eventually a cabinet position.

We gave to him, so this is doubly good.

Every little bit we can whittle down Pelosi’s majority is great. If the Democrats only have a majority of a few seats, they’ll have to cater to their prima donnas, water things down to keep people on board, etc.

Were losing PA because of the Philly Suburbs. Trump did 100k worse than last time. He actually did better in Philly proper

I think CA-21 is safely GOP. CA-25 is razor thin lead, but Garcia is going door-to-Door to ensure all votes we legal
