We gave lockdowns a chance nearly a year ago. Europe gave lockdowns an even more serious attempt. It delayed the spread, it didn’t cure the disease, and it threw the rest of society into upheaval for what?
Just like Cuomo and Deblasio.
This makes me so sad. My son was finally set to return to school Jan 5th. If Biden is inaugurated Jan 20th, then my son will be sent back home again for “remote learning,” which does not work again.
His senior year of high school wasn’t supposed to be like this.
And what of private schools? Courts have determined in some states that they can’t be shut down by governors indefinitely. Even Newsom was just told by a court that he needs to stop shutting down things without the legislature (in CA’s case that wouldn’t matter of course, but still).
Would Biden shut down every single K-12 school nationwide? In Europe and in the rest of the world, the schools are the last to shut down and the first to reopen.
And here I was hoping Trump would OPEN up all the schools in Jan.
Well, he still might. There’s a narrow gate, as Steve Bannon (War Room) says, but it’s a gate.
