The couple whose October nuptials on Long Island turned into a COVID-19 superspreader event sickening at least 34 and resulting in the venue getting its liquor license yanked has been identified, according to a report.
Cydnie Piscatello and James Rugnetta tied the knot on Oct. 17 at North Fork Country Club in Suffolk County in front of 113 guests more than double the legal limit for events during the pandemic, the Daily Mail reported Wednesday.
Photos from the couples big day show the bride dressed in a white gown and groom in a navy tuxedo at the stunning venue in Cutchogue.

if people were afraid of getting a virus, then they could have stayed home....
congratulations to the happy couple...a pox on the media.
It’s disgusting, but the good news is that they are not public figures, so if the media starts smearing them and gets the facts wrong, they could clean up with a libel lawsuit, Covington style.
How “sickened” did 34 people get? What amounts to colds?
I had Covid and shit it out in 3 days. I wouldn’t go back and hide under my bed to avoid it.
Sick of these loaded words “superspreader”..I guess riots and celebrating Biden don’t qualify?
Is anyone actually sick? The article suggests that, as expected, nobody is actually sick and certainly not seriously. Just positive tests. So much panic over what in almost all cases is the most benign virus you can test positive for. Yes, for a select few it can turn bad, real bad. But it’s a tiny sliver of the people who get infected.
Too funny!! I saw the term ‘Super-Spreader’ and expected a story about kamala harris
“more than double the legal limit for events during the pandemic”
What is the law cite for that.
My mother caught the rona at a wedding. At least 30 other people also got it.
It didn’t make the news.
20+ people got it at a funeral of a family friend. I know numerous churches where it spread like wildfire.
My personal community has decided not to hide from it.
I can’t figure out why this story made the news. So stupid.
From April to November 14, 2009, the CDC estimated that 34-67 million people in the USA had contracted the H1N1 Virus (Swine Flu) and had downgraded the virus to a seasonal flu.
I think the catering hall lost their license?
If thousands of people can gather at rallies that don’t become “superspreader” events, how is it possible to blame a 113 person gathering for allegedly making 34 catch the bug?
Are there reports of people getting sick from last week’s
Oh De Joi celebrations for Resident Select Creepy Joe and the Side Ho?
It’s all in lower NY. No?
What if those 34 people from the wedding all came from the same area, and what if they all had the corona virus already and weren’t sick? Didn’t have symptoms? I understand THAT is a very common scenario.
So one person gets a sore throat and a test and it’s positive, so everybody else has to get a test and it turns up 33 other people from the same area who aren’t really ill but test positive?
The reaction to these situations is medieval.
BURN THE WITCH!
No critical thinking involved, just fear mongering and pointing fingers.
NYP, if you have to trash people, look into the Bidens.
My wife and I have attended two large weddings and receptions in Texas over the last couple of months. No superspreaders at either of them.
>> NYP, if you have to trash people, look into the Bidens.
NY Post not permitted to do that anymore.
Congratulations to the bride and groom!
I wonder how many Detroit poll workers are gonna get the rona. They superspread Biden votes by the vanload.
They go and pick on the Italians!
So, is there a difference between a ‘spreader event’ and a ‘super spreader event’ OR is the MSM addicted to hyperbolic adjectives?
My guess with the 90% false positive rate with the current tests were that there were a couple of people who attended who actually got sick for a few days. But the Department of Health used contact tracing to to track down everyone who attended and forced them all to get tested sick or not after they found out about the wedding.
It is all complete BS. I hope that these two are able to sue the Post for millions.
