INSANE: Pennsylvania’s Allegheny County Board Of Elections Votes to Count Undated Ballots

The Allegheny County Board of Elections has voted to allow ballots to be counted that were not properly dated when they were mailed in.

These ballots were the only item on the board’s agenda on Tuesday.

According to the board, there are 2,349 ballots without dates — which they have now decided to count.

“What we have here is essentially a technicality that we don’t want voters to get disenfranchised with,” said Allegheny County solicitor Andy Szefi, according to a report from the CBS Pittsburgh.

The report added that “those dateless ballots will undergo further analysis to make sure they are eligible. So far, more than 2,600 ballots have been thrown out as part of the normal review process.”

There were also 29,000 ballots originally mailed to the wrong voters, and 7,000 of those were still under review.

“Right now, we are doing a comparison of any spoiled or surrendered ballots at the polling locations to make sure they didn’t surrender their correct ballot and vote at the polls. So we want to make sure we do that prior to counting the 7,000,” said David Voye, the Allegheny County Elections Division manager.

Additionally, there are 17,000 provisional ballots in the county that have not yet been opened. They are supposed to begin being processed on Wednesday.

“We have to determine, number one, if they were registered. Number two, if the precinct they voted in is the right precinct. Number three, if they applied for an absentee or mail-in ballot, that it’s already been returned,” said Voye.

It has been a full week since the election and Allegheny County still has roughly 27,000 outstanding ballots.

They disenfranchised themselves, if that’s even possible. They have no one but themselves to blame. What if they forgot to put the ballot in the envelope, or if they didn’t mail the ballot? At some point, personal responsibility has to kick in.

A lawfully filled out ballot is a legal document, a form of contract between the citizen and state, and like any other important legal document is worthless without date(s).

...and there is no legal remedy for stupidity (omitting the date).

Nice of them to do that right out in the open, because it is
clear evidence of election tampering.

I thought the final decision for each state was made by the state legislature. Isn’t the PA state legislature Republican?

The were supposed to be set aside and counted but not added per Alito. Whatever happened to the Saturday meeting that they were supposed to answer Alito?

You have seen the images and video of the teams of 2 that were reading and filling out ballots? Those they say were spoiled ballots but no repubs were allowed to view so who knows but there are thousands of those ballots how many spoiled ballots would you have really?

If they are military ballots from FPO/APOs, then this would be OK. The military postal system has different rules about postmarks for items without stamps, though there’s been effort to get them to mark ballots particularly.

If this is from locals, then it is not OK.

>>> The were supposed to be set aside and counted but not added per Alito.

Well, keep in mind that when Alito issued his ruling, the pollworkers had already defied lower court orders to allow observers closer.

They were already mixing unverified/late/illegal ballots in with valid ballots and totals.

Alito’s ruling was pretty much a joke to them, and everyone else who heard about it....

However, just as the state legislature called upon the governor to call for an audit which they knew wouldn’t be called, Alito issued an order he knew wouldn’t be followed.

Such is the case when you want to solidify and clarify lawful expectations to those involved for prosecution’s sake, not necessarily for prevention’s sake.

How in the hell are there 17,000 provisional ballots. Can’t people in cities vote correctly?

Well, some have been having trouble because others voted in their place.

One more issue for the attorneys to present to SCOTUS.

By the blatant ways they’re cheating, it seems that they’re confident they’ve got enough SCOTI in their pocket to prevail when/if the time comes.

So whats the point then no one except for you an me have to follow orders? So if I lived there I could still fill ballots out and mail them in or just hand them to them today, tomorrow and they would count them.

“If they are military ballots from FPO/APOs, then this would be OK.”

In some states that wouldn’t be the case, but not PA. I don’t think there are exceptions for military Absentee Ballots.

“The PA legislature said ballots must be RECEIVED by E-Day, not just postmarked. Democrats in PA extended it for 3 days, contrary to the law.” Here’s a video where the Fox infobabe gets knocked down a peg or two, and it’s delicious. The snotty look on her face when she gets educated is cool.

I was referring specifically to the postmark question. Though if these were also late, that is a different issue.

In the 2000 FL dispute, Gore’s campaign tried to block military ballots from being counted because they lacked postmarks, even though they had arrived on time.

I recall the Gore thing. Sadly, it seems that military ballots often (conveniently) don’t get counted in RAT areas. That Brenda Snipes elections official in Broward or Miami-Dade — wasn’t she guilty of hiding the military ballots in 2016?
