Allegheny County Board Of Elections Votes To Count More Than 2,000 Ballots Without Dates

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — One week after Election Day and election-related lawsuits are piling up in Pennsylvania.

But so are the ballots.

On Tuesday inside the election warehouse on the North Side, staffers began processing ballots at 9:00 a.m. and continued working through the night. At around 3:00 p.m., there were roughly 27,000 outstanding ballots in Allegheny County.

The process happened in front of 18 observers who represented both Republicans and Democrats, according to county leaders. Outstanding ballots included military and overseas ballots, which could be received until 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Of the 29,000 ballots originally mailed to the wrong voters, 7,000 of those were still under review.

“Right now, we are doing a comparison of any spoiled or surrendered ballots at the polling locations to make sure they didn’t surrender their correct ballot and vote at the polls. So we want to make sure we do that prior to counting the 7,000,” said David Voye, the Allegheny County Elections Division manager.

Whatever they do in PA will be honored, so long as it is in accordance with the state’s election laws passed by the LEGISLATURE.

In this case, the governor and the state courts have changed the state’s election laws and procedures, in violation of the U.S. Constitution, which specifies the LEGISLATURE as the SOLE determining body for election laws.

Not the governor. Not the state courts.

They have effectively disenfranchised either the voters that followed the states procedures, or those who operated under the changed rules. The only remedy is to protect the lawful voter, and toss all others.

The changed rules will render those ballots unlawful.

That and an Audit and we’ll have a more accurate election result.

The violations of procedures, laws, decorum, transparency and outright fraud is outrageous.

Based on what we know today this cannot stand.

And it won’t stand!

Exactly. Permitting ballots to be counted which were returned after the FO date/time enables fraud.

The exception are absentee ballots, which are quite different than mail-in ballots or, for that matter, provisional ballots.

It’s unbelievable that people permitted the changes which culminated in the US’ worst election in memory, perhaps ever.

Rudy was saying today that trucks sporting out of state license plates were delivering ballots in Detroit at 4am Nov 4th according to an affidavit. The interviewer didn't really want him talking about that. Giuliani presents evidence for Trump's legal battle

Kansas was one of the states that allowes mailin ballots to be dropped off. A witness was only required if that person helped to fill out the ballot.

We dropped off our ballots in CA, no postmark, picked up from the drop point by a delivery service. We signed the ballots when we dropped them off as being dropped directly and not being mailed. They got a delivery date of election day.

It all depends on the state and the process. What I described was San Jose CA.

Some red county BOE should just vote to discount all Biden votes. Why not? It would have the same legal standing.

Alito said all mail ballots received after November 3rd 8pm were to be set aside they could be counted but they were not to be entered in the count. Why do they not listen and why does Alito not care his order was ignored.
I really feel like turning into a thug I mean they get away with everything but the law abiding get the shaft every time.
I am at a loss right now.

well I think that happened in other places as well...some were bringing in suitcases that were questionable...but the key was when they shut down the counting.. that was the go and everything that was set to go ensured form there...throughout the night.

"Can Board pass this motion, after the fact?"

I don't think they can arbitrarily make this decision. There has to be guidelines written by the State Legislature regarding ballots without dates.

Some states have a "date" space shown with your signature space on the Affidavit envelope (the one that you place your mailed ballot into). That might be the other "date." The envelope must be completed very precisely; if your signature is missing on the affidavit envelope, your mailed ballot MUST be rejected (it cannot be counted). However, at the poll where I worked as poll watcher in my small town on Election day, they did "cure" a few of those ballots in real time by calling the voter on the phone about their missing signature, and then had a local PD officer drive to their home so they could sign it...

In case anyone can’t guess from their desire to break the law, Allegheny County, PA, is 2:1 democrat over republican.
