I guess it was presented entirely different to me, that it was someone at a distribution center, that there were a lot of ballots involved, and the cancellation machine.
Instead, it's a CCA overhearing a conversation at an individual station which might involve a few ballots. Scale's the thing in my book - yeah, it'd be really wrong for anyone to hand cancel ballots with the wrong date (and we've got a procedure that makes such a thing difficult - not impossible, but difficult.)
