As Republicans pursue a longshot chance of overturning the presidential results in Wisconsin, theyre focused on absentee voters' addresses, the states residency requirement and a flash drive that was briefly left in a counting machine.
With a lead of more than 20,000 votes by President-elect Joe Biden, Republicans would need to find something momentous to shift the states results to President Donald Trump.
And in the unlikely scenario that Biden loses Wisconsins 10 electoral votes, he could still claim the presidency because of other states.
Wisconsin Republicans are scrambling to find issues they can raise in the recount Trump has promised to pursue.
Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, R-Rochester, on Friday directed a committee to review the election results, saying he wanted it to determine whether there were any irregularities.
Republicans have raised concerns about instances in which clerks filled in the addresses of witnesses on absentee ballot envelopes.
Absentee voters in Wisconsin place their ballots in envelopes that they must sign before returning them to local election officials. They must also have a witness sign the envelope and provide his or her address.
If the voters signature, the witness signature or the witness address is missing, the vote wont count.
Before the election, clerks contacted voters if they identified problems with the envelopes so they could fix them.
The state Elections Commission told clerks they could add the witness address if they were able to determine what it was.
Former state Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman and some Republicans contend the witness not the clerk is the one who is supposed to fill out the address information.
The one meaningful path that the president would have in Wisconsin would be to challenge the I believe illegal clerks writing in the addresses for the absentee voters witnesses, Gableman said.

Minimizing the mistake does not change the fact that tens of thousands of Biden votes were stored on the flash drive.
Any word on the “glitch” from yesterday?
amazing how they down play such crap....
What about THIS?

Republicans say thousands in Wisconsin may have circumvented voter ID requirement
Voter turnout at 200% in some counties isn’t a reason???? fk me sideways!
Perfecto Garcia!
138,000 votes ONLY for Biden? BULL$HIT!!!
I thought WI was within less than 1% which triggers an automatic recount.
This article is nothing but a liberal hit piece and should be ignored.
Computer hacking / tampering to flip at least 20k votes from our President to Biteme is not material, it seems. I mean it is really voter fraud, it is actually election fraud. If that is okay, guess the GOP needs to gear up to hack every voting system in the country next election cycle. The election software was designed to be tampered with, so game on, I guess.
A flash drive briefly left in a counting machine should invalidate that entire machine
The difference is currently .6% which would allow a recount. It’s in the article.
Us “You’re peeing all over us”
Them “No We’re not”
Us: “Uh, yes you are- we are watching you do it”
Them: “Nope- We’re not, You’re making this all up”
Judge: “RECOUNT!”
That’s all it takes. One file transfer and presto, Biden’s leading.
Suck on THIS, Milwaukee Journal:
I have noticed this trend:
The is NO, not a shred, one hint of fraud. Anywhere, ever.
Ok, there are allegations, but they are baseless.
There is no evidence.
Ok, there is evidence but its minor.
Ok, there may be fraud but it isnt enough to turn the election. No way.

“LIAR!!!!”
Ok, it will turn the election, but it will lead to civil war if we overturn, so suck it up, Trumpies!
Then:
Mistakes were made.
The Republicans had more fraud that we did.
The state legislature Republicans are evil fascists.
The Supreme Court is evil fascists.
The evil fascist Trump stole the election from us—riot!
