Well, some good news today!
I am a Vet, but this year I will not use this to get free meals. What I expect to do go out and buy meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) from those hurting businesses.
I recommend us Vets give back this year. Because of my service I have no financial hardships, so I want to help those hurting Covid businesses that appreciated Vets.
I’m a Gulf War Vet, my wife was a Vet. I don’t indulge in Veterans Day free food but have no problem with those who do. I can afford to pay so I do. I do appreciate the offers.
We both serves as well.
My wife and I don’t go for the free meals. We are blessed enough that we just don’t feel the need. We do tell the manager that we appreciate the support they show Vets.
No Lowe’s and Home Depot, I’ll take that discount!
Star = Real ID
The National Park thing is a very nice gesture.
In NH, if requested, they will put a Vet stamp on your license, after you show them your DD-214.
Huddle House has a Free MVP Breakfast for all AD and Vets on 11 Nov.
