Definitely shouldnt rely on it. If we get to 269-269, what are the odds the Dems dont get one of Trumps 269 electors to flip? Id say non-zero odds for sure. While SCOTUS held earlier this year that faithless elector laws are enforceable, only 14 states have them.
By the same token, if it ends up 269-269, or even a narrow lead for Biden, we should push just as hard to flip a Biden elector or two.
