European lawmakers said on Friday time was running out to put in place any new trade agreement between London and the European Union before the end of an 11-month transition period following Britains departure from the bloc.
Britain formally left the EU last January but has been following the blocs rules since then as the two sides try to agree on their future trade relationship.
The transition period ends on Dec. 31 but negotiators are still trying to reach an agreement to protect nearly a trillion dollars in annual trade from possible quotas and tariffs.

Brexit not looking so good right now, not because the English don’t want it, but because the Europeans and one-worlder overlords have been able to run out the clock. Don’t expect Biden/Harris to lift a finger for any trade deals with the UK.
I see you have bought into the Barnier bullshit. WTO rules will apply; the Germans and other net exporters are already looking for side deals under the famous Brussels back room “exception” diplomacy.
If the grinning Idiot gets the reigns, Britain will be forced back into the EU. You can take that to the bank
In terms of “the English don’t want it” - well it is still a slim majority that want it in England, yes. Not so much Scotland or Northern Ireland
WTO rules will apply - and that will kill
1. British manufacturing which requires no borders as it consists of a number of parts or half-completed products moving across the borders — think if California had trade borders with other states - or more accurately if Ohio or Illinois had it
2. British financial services needs the open borders
3. Germany 9.81% of all british exports head to Germany.
in contrast only 6.21% of all German exports head to the UK
Britain won’t be back in the EU anytime soon. Remember, the UK had tons of exceptions:
1. It got a large chunk of it’s payments back as rebates
2. It got to not enter the eurozone
If it has to rejoin, that won’t happen. I don’t see the UK heading back anytime this decade\
