I live in Oregon. They decriminalized those drugs, and others. Not sure about Washington, though.
South Dakota.
THC concentrates have always been somewhat available. Hash and hash oil. Dabs seem to be popular with some of the real cementheads. Invest in medical oxygen. The future is spelled COPD.
States for full recreational use:
Arizona, Montana, New Jersey
States for medical marijuana:
Mississippi, North South Dakota
So for centuries Americans have been able to legally get drunk off their minds and that was fine ... but if they can legally take a hit off a joint, soon murder will be legal?
Pull the other one.
Cocaine and Heroin are neither legalized nor decriminalized in Washington State and are not legalized in Oregon.
Okay, not Washington...yet.
But it is in Oregon. I learned about here on FR.

OK, but when many of the users have toked themselves into befuddled unemployability their habit will be declared a disease. They will then be welcomed to the rolls of public assistance, to keep their high at the expense of the rest of us.
Make it illegal for them to collect government largesse because of their bad CHOICES and I’ll go along with it.
See my post #28. Goes for all drug abuse.
There’s a few dozen family members of mine who do not use cannabis or any other drug who can testify to the wonderful results I’ve had using cannabis medicinally: Was able to stop taking multiple ineffective & harmful medications because cannabis successfully treated my symptoms.
It’s important to note you do not speak for “people who aren’t on drugs”.
SD passed recreational pot.
“Cops have been using marijuana busts of a single joint or bud to seize money, cars, homes.....”
That is a lie. Prove it’s not!
FYI.......I actually no longer care how much you weak minds do drugs....use dope until your head blows up for all I care.
Existing users who were so inclined have already done so. New users are those who before legalization were responsible enough to avoid breaking the law, so can be expected to be responsible enough to not toke themselves into befuddled unemployability.
Ergo, no increase in pot-fueled collection of government largesse.
I have no issue with terminally ill patients using medical marijuana, or those who are on chemo. But recreational use? This country is going to hell quick!.
‘And if yiu6 bring up the alcohol is legal argument, you’re stupid and a 10 year old mentally. Because a kid says things like “ bobby gets to stay out late I should too!.’
That’s not the argument; the argument is that if the harms of alcohol criminalization outweigh the harms of legal alcohol, the same is true of marijuana.
Yes, I do because stupid people need the means to off themselves.
Just make it illegal for them to collect public assistance, then. And listen to the wails.
“Just make it illegal for them to collect public assistance, then.”
I’m all for it - and ditto for alcohol users. But if it can’t get done, marijuana legalization should still proceed on its own merits.
