The Georgia race is going to be decided by a hair, and that all but guarantees a recount that will further drag on the election.
Former Vice President Joe Biden is now ahead of President Trump in the battle for Georgia’s 16 electoral votes after new votes were added to the tally. As of 11am ET, there were 2,449,590 votes in the Biden column, representing 49.39 percent of ballots cast, versus 2,448,492 or 49.37 percent for Trump. Biden leads by a miniscule 1,098 votes.
On Thursday evening, events appeared to be leading in this direction. The New York Times reported that Trump’s lead had dipped below 10,000 in Georgia with 47,000 votes left to be counted. Many of those votes were from Chatham County, which includes the city of Savannah. It was at 6:10pm last night another batch of ballots came in from Clayton County, a deep blue county.
President Clinton won the state of Georgia in 1992 and was the last Democrat to do so. The fate of Georgia will likely come down to the nearly 9,000 absentee ballots from military and overseas voters that have not yet been counted.
A recount can be requested in Georgia if a candidate loses with a 0.5% margin or less, and the Trump campaign has already put out a press release foreshadowing one. “This election is not over,” Trump general campaign counsel Matt Morgan said.
“The false projection of Joe Biden as the winner is based on results in four states that are far from final,” Morgan said. “Georgia is headed for a recount, where we are confident we will find ballots improperly harvested, and where President Trump will ultimately prevail.”

I have never seen so much election corruption in my lifetime! Even when Mayor Daly of Chicago harkened the cemeteries to turn out the vote in ‘60, to get Kennedy elected, pales to what’s happening now! Disgusting!!
Recounts always favor democrats
On another post it said the military votes are yet to be counted in Georgia. They should be heavy Trump.

Yep. The odds are not in a favor and we need to figure out “what next.” We can’t let this stand or it is the end of democracy in the USA and we will have one party rule from now on. Unfortunately, that’s not hyperbole.
Before misinformation gets posted, the process is this. There is an audit and validation of each vote before any recount. This will take a week because there are 5 million votes to process one by one.
Trump should have a team of lawyers here watching the auditing process.
Agree. Between the recount and the military vote Trump should prevail.

Remember the ‘00 recount/audit.
Bush was never behind.
The vote margin changed a few dozen/hundred each time (always in Gore’s favor...statistically unlikely)...
But the outcome ultimately didn’t change.
(although if they’d KEPT recounting they would have ultimately ‘found’ enough Gore votes to do that...which is why the left shrieked when the supreme court shut down the recounts)

Not always. The recount in Michigan after the 2016 election showed that Hillary Clinton was losing votes. They had to end the recount before any more damage could be done.

I’m not ready to roll over and I bet the 300,000 Georgians whose votes were stolen aren’t either.
The auditing should kick out duplicates and other irregularities if done correctly. That’s why Trump’s team needs access
They just want to count all of the mixed in fraudulent ballots a second time as an argument that someone the fraudulent ballots aren’t really illegal votes.

I’m not deliberately throwing cold water on the idea.
But in reality no major elections have been changed at this point by ‘audits’.
