WASHINGTON — The Justice Department told federal prosecutors in an email early on Wednesday that the law allowed them to send armed federal officers to ballot-counting locations around the country to investigate potential voter fraud, according to three people who described the message.
The email created the specter of the federal government intimidating local election officials or otherwise intervening in vote tallying amid calls by President Donald Trump to end the tabulating in states where he was trailing in the presidential race, former officials said.
A law prohibits the stationing of armed federal officers at polls on Election Day. But a top official told prosecutors that the department interpreted the statute to mean that they could send armed federal officers to polling stations and locations where ballots were being counted anytime after that.
The statute “does not prevent armed federal law enforcement persons from responding to, investigate, or prevent federal crimes at closed polling places or at other locations where votes are being counted,” the official, Richard P. Donoghue, told prosecutors in an email that he sent around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

What an odd story. Why is DOJ telling it’s own prosecutors this? What business is it of theirs?
The way to get this entire election fiasco overturned is for federal agents, either working for Giuliani or for the FBI to obtain signed, sworn affidavits, as many as possible, from insiders who were involved in the ballot cheating scandle.
For example, you obtained a sworn statement from an underling who says that his supervisor directed him to stuff ballots. Then you go after the supervisor and threaten him with prosecutive action if he doesn’t cooperate, and so on all the way up the line.
Then Giuliani submits the case, with all this testimony, to the US Supreme Court.

This is just left-wing propaganda. Trump is not trying to stop the vote counting. He’s trying to make sure Republican observers can actually watch the vote counting process and challenge questionable activities. Investigators from the DOJ won’t be armed and won’t be trying to intimidate anyone. They may have some armed agents with them to protect them from mobs on the streets, but I would expect the armed agents to stay outside of any meetings that DOJ investigators have with local officials.
Young media people are so foolish and naive. The know almost nothing about history and don’t understand how quickly a true constitutional republic can be lost and turn into a socialist dictatorship. Look at Venezuela—25 years ago that was a functional democracy and they lost their democracy with incredible speed, because powerful people in VZ didn’t really believe in democracy and support it. Today Venezuela is a corrupt socialist dictatorship run by thugs and gangsters. Many people think that can’t possibly happen in the USA. Is there truth to the required watermarks on official ballots by Homeland Security?
And that the Feds ran a sting operation to catch voter fraud through use of fraudulent fake ballots?
