Despite Portlanders believing that Sniffy Joe is about to be declared the next President, the rioters have taken to the streets because reasons, this time venting their frustration over vichy “mayor” Ted Wheeler’s successful reelection bid.
After two separate marches converged downtown, the National Guard was activated due to “widespread violence” breaking out.
The terrorists busted out windows of churches, restaurants, and locally owned stores:

You’re spot on. Wheeler was by far the lesser of two evils. His opponent, Sarah Iannarone, was promising if elected to stop what little law enforcement there was against the nightly protests! Absolute madness.

Bet he resigns long before then. Unless Trump is victorious, and squashes the riots, Portland will remain out of control.

I believe they have already found him. Mingus Mapps, a retired history professor, won against the incumbent, radical communist city council member Chloe Eudaly. Mapps has been endorsed by the Police union.
