BINGHAMTON, New York Folks along both sides of the state line know theyre sitting on a gold mine geologists call the Marcellus Formation, but those to the north have watched helplessly as their Pennsylvania neighbors prospered, an issue that President Trump believes could help him win the critical Keystone State on Tuesday.

Blame your democrat governor. Also blame the morons that elected that blooming idiot.
Its not just the lack of wealth and jobs.
Our energy costs are sky high, and the state’s energy policy is insane.
Well, then according to the Progressive Manual of Bull Obama, NY has the right to invade PA and loot it.
Fair is fair.
It depends on NYC turnout. Most of the rest of the state is voting for Trump.
The liberals here in NY think that all of our energy to power 20 Million people & businesses will come from a few windmills and solar panel and of course Unicorn tears
No question-———Biden screwed PA w/ his stance on fracking. Ergo, Biden forfeited PA.
At the second debate, Trump nailed Biden an fracking.......said Biden’s “on tape against fracking.”
Much to my surprise, doddering Biden insisted Trump put up the tape (did he old fool think Trump didnt have the evidence?)
Trump showed tapes of Biden AND Kamala both opposing fracking———the method that has made America No 1 in oil exporting.
Biden/Harris’s bowing to lefties’ crazy determination to close down the oil industry means 100 oil-related industries would also suffer.
Even something as mundane as collecting, mfg and selling Vaseline is related to the oil industry.....it’s a byproduct of pumping oil out of the ground.
They are only offering $2,500 per acre and 15% royalties, probably with a bird-cage liner producer 88 lease.
I got $26,517 per acre for my group and our lease was 18 pages long.
Do not deal with landmen without having an oil and gas attorney representing you. Worth every penny!
Fracking requires a LOT of water. If you are on a well system, they can bleed your Wells dry if the lease allows. Also, NYC pulls water from upstate. NYC doesn’t want that water diverted.
I had a job interview at one of the SUNY colleges in New York several years ago. Being a Pennsylvanian from the western part of the state I was looked upon with suspicion. At one point a member of the search committee deliberately got me into a discussion of the economy. I mentioned how important natural gas and fracking were to Pennsylvania, especially for the towns that needed the influx of jobs and opportunity.
The discussion turned to her support for “green” energy. She was adamant about it. It was a religion to her. I said I’d read that the wind turbine blades were killing tens of thousands of birds including raptors that follow the mountain ridges in Pennsylvania on their migratory routes south. She dismissed that with a sneer. She told me the birds would just have to “learn to fly someplace else.” I knew then my chances for the job were doomed and things went downhill after that.
So, killing vital birds is okay in the pursuit of “green” energy? That makes sense to these nutty ideologues? Too bad New York is polluted with them. New Yorkers continue to vote for left wing Democrats. Too bad.
The New Yorkers should file a lawsuit..taking their mineral rights
“Our energy costs are sky high:”
Yet, you have one of the largest sources of hydroelectric power in Niagara Falls producing electricity @ a cost of $.001/KHW.
There is natural gas LITERALLY leaking out of the ground in western NY.
The amount of natural gas being used now to produce electricity has primarily displaced coal as a energy source. This is the reason our CO2 outputs are down so substantially.
IF only we could get a pipeline built from PA to New England. Instead they load it on a ship, then bring it up to Boston, etc.
PA drinks NY’s milkshake...
PA is milking our cows.
It is not just NY liberals. The problem is you were interviewing at a SUNY college.
The whole university system in the USA is full of people who teach because they can not do the job they were trained for.
These are people who were fairly smart but instead of getting a job after their four year degree they chose to get a PHD.
Then they are overqualified for most entry level positions. Their only prospect is to continue teaching at a college/university. Some of these people are really intelligent, but they have no real world experience. Then when they eventually get tenure, they can never be fired.
100%
Don't divert the water detour it.
You can get much higher BTUs from unicorn farts. Plus rainbows provide unlimited free energy.
Seriously though, providing electric power to NYC will not be as much of a challenge now that de Blasio is driving anyone with the means to do so to move somewhere else.
I hope fracking is so effective that PA can pull every last ounce of gas from underneath NY, and a judge throws each case out with prejudice.
