Three people were shot late Saturday in North Topeka after a man confronted people he thought had committed past thefts of signs promoting the campaign of Republican Presidential incumbent Donald Trump, a Topeka police supervisor said Sunday.
Police weren’t specifying who was thought to have shot whom or revealing the names, ages or genders of those who were wounded. Officers responded about 11 p.m. to the scene in the 1300 block of N.W. Eugene, from which one person was taken by ambulance to a hospital with gunshot wounds that were considered potentially life-threatening, said police Lt. Joe Perry.
Two other people later sought hospital treatment in Topeka after arriving by private vehicle after suffering from gunshot wounds, Perry said. The seriousness of their injuries wasn’t clear.

I suspect if he gets charged he may have wished there were such things as warning shots, if indeed warning shots are the same as Unicorns & the Easter Bunny, non-existent fabrications. Of course if he truly did fear for his life and convince a jury of his feeling of being in imminent danger, good on him. But for political signs I would rather take the loss if the political signs then the loss of money for a lawyer and my potential loss of freedom. 8>)

Now when I was younger I just might have acted before giving serious consideration as to the potential consequences of my actions. Since we share the same birth year, and being military brats, though I never served myself, I suspect you may share my above thoughts and your post was more likely one of sarcasm than anything else. 8>)

Just saying. It is and you know deadly force is totally last resort. We have to be careful and the younger crowd seems to have no respect for human life sometimes. I fear there’s a certain numbness that’s set in. Be safe, I hope we never have to draw a weapon. We do what we have to do.

I hope Nov. 3rd President Trump calls out the forces to thwart the plans I have been hearing about the chaos expected in D.C. Fortunately I live in the country and do not expect much around here. But also ready in case there should be. Just wish I had me a working Gatling gun though, with an over abundance of ammo as well. 8>)

For the past 20 years DNC Brownshirts have been painting swastikas on the homes and sidewalks of Republican voters and setting fire to their campaign signs.
They are akin to the KKK and are trespassing to intimidate and threaten voters.
Under Texas’ Stand Your Ground, you can use armed force to protect your property. Try stealing my car OR signs.
