Gingrich: ‘Left Is Going To Be Terribly Shocked”
“He has a better likelihood than he did at this stage in 2016 when he was clearly behind and closing rapidly,” Gingrich said. “The people I trust the most, the pollsters that have been the most accurate over the last 5 or 6 years who seem to understand the dynamics of the age of Trump.”
“I saw today the first electoral college map that made sense to me and it showed Trump at 326 electoral votes plus,” Gingrich said. “I think that is probably about right. I think the left is going to be terribly shocked.”
“I actually think, Sean, it comes down to something which is psychological, not ideological,” Gingrich said. “In the end, as you watched these 2 candidates campaigning, I think it’s coming down to sort of a bunny rabbit hiding in a basement protected by the news media and a bear who is wandering around on the stage courageously without fear.”
“If you think the world is dangerous, whether the dangers are riots in Philadelphia or the dangers are the Chinese communists, you probably want a bear that is strong enough to defend you and not a bunny rabbit that has to be protected by the news media,” he said.
“I think every day that Biden hides and Trump goes out and campaigns, the psychological message being driven to the American people is really deeper than just ideology or partisanship,” Gingrich said. “It says one guy has the guts, the willingness, the toughness to actually be out here, taking on things including Covid. The other guy is hiding, frightened, hoping the news media will save him because he can’t possibly save himself.”
“And I think that sinks in,” he continued. “And I think that’s why you are seeing in virtually every poll I trust we’re seeing a steady drift towards Trump and away from the undecided and away from sort of leaning towards Biden but not sold.”
“My personal bet is it will lead to a surprising majority for Trump,” Gingrich concluded.
I wonder what antifa and other garbage have planned for election day.
Seems like they could hurt Ds more because outside of large cities, the cops and people will come down on them much harder than they are used to.
But still, a scene at a voting place would require it to be shut down for a few hours probably and that’s what they are looking for.
We shall see what happens.

Shutting down voting booths in the city is detrimental to their cause. If so they are more stupid than their leaders.

The ordinary leftists want the extremists to stop causing trouble right now so Biden can win. But an interesting idea I have read is that the really extreme left will keep causing trouble because they actually want Trump to be re-elected. This is because Trump energizes them by giving them the enemy they need to keep their movement going. And they hate Biden anyway, because they think he’s way too moderate, so they are not bothered by him losing the election.

On the night of #Election2020,

will address the nation, his campaign announces.
Reagan vs Mondale in 1984 ended up with Reagan getting slightly over 500 electoral votes and Mondale only getting 10 and that was his home state of Minnesota.
I’m not a professional like Newt but I’m predicting Trump gets over 400.
I say this for five specific reasons:
1. I think it’s possible Trump wins one or more big blue states like California or New York.
2. Experts I’ve read think the Dem’s will walk away in large numbers and up to 20% will vote for Trump.
3. Blacks are going to go 40% or more for Trump.
4. Many in the country are literally terrified of the democrats. That dynamic was not in play in 1984.
5. Even the dumbest among us can see that Biden is a very sick old man.
The extreme left would probably like the old white Democrats to be swept away in a Trump wave, to make room for young radicals to take over in the next election.
