HANOI Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Thursday that the tide is turning against China amid a growing recognition of the threat Beijings policies pose to the U.S. and countries across Asia.
Mr. Pompeo held talks this week with leaders of five southern Asian states and said in an interview that he found growing support for U.S.-led efforts to oppose Chinese efforts at financial and military dominance.

"Mr. Pompeo wrapped up the five-nation, around-the-world tour with a surprise visit to Vietnam days before the U.S. presidential election. The secretary of state said he hopes to continue leading foreign policy during a second Trump administration but noted that President Trump ultimately will decide on appointing any new Cabinet secretaries."
Hello Mr. Secretary of State.
Greetings from southern Vietnam.
Big fan of yours.

Building an Indi-Pacific coalition for a grand scale version of “let you and THEM fight”.
I love it! Couldn’t happen to some “nicer” players.
Pompeo’s bravado is funny.
How to get Sri Lanka join the anti-China alliance while his state department has imposed sanction on Sri Lankas army chief?
Pompeo continued carrying out Obama/John Kerry’s stupid foreign policy, it has pushed Sri Lanka and Myanmar back to China. His tough talk won’t turn the side.

Pei-Ba-Da-Ping.
China has maintained a managed currency as the source of their growth almost since Nixon. This meant that foreigners could buy much more with their currency in China because the Chinese were essentially subsidizing them. This made China the world’s manufacturing and technology super state. But that kind of manipulation comes at a price. Now China, which imports 30% of their food, is running out of foreign currency with which to buy that food. This hits at the same time flooding has wiped out an estimated 50% of their food stocks. They are handling the problem the same way Germany did. They are taking the money from citizens and neighbors. The Holocaust was about racial purity, but it also financed the Reich. Likewise, the invasions were used to loot the invaded countries of their assets and to enslave the populace under the Reich’s yoke. The same is happening in Hong Kong and to the Uyghurs.
The biggest driver regarding Taiwan is its wealth. The Chinese want it.
Chi-coms are flexing their muscles in Greenland, yes Greenland!
