As we move into the final days of the election season, political language has become less civil and more hostile than we’ve seen in generations.
Many political observers and everyday Americans say today’s tone is influenced and partly fueled by extremists on the far right and left.
University of North Georgia political scientist Dr. Glen Smith told Channel 2′s Justin Farmer that extremist groups are intolerant toward other groups and believe they are superior.

Extreme portion of the dem party is the middle. All 2 or 3 of them.
I don’t see “right wingers” burning down Police stations, cordoning off entire cities into CHAZ, throwing rocks into peoples houses or murdering cops and political opponents.

So it would be helpful if people who speak of such extremists would give a few examples of people they associate with each group. (My guess is that almost all of us here are far-right extremists to people who throw around such terms.)
