Collins closing strong. I expect her to win this race (she always does). Could be pivotal.

SurveyUSA polls tend to be good.

she helps hold the Senate. would rather have her 60% support than 0% support from a dim.

I agree...She has to do what she has to do...we didn’t need her vote so let her go on this one..but she came through Kavanaugh..which in itself now he is ruling likes Roberts another story...But better to have someone who can be there if really needed..then a DEM who will never be there..

Has Collins ever appeared with Trump at any of his rallies in Maine?

Collins will pull it out...

and we should want that.

Remember, under immense pressure, Collins held strong and gave us Supreme Court Justice, Brett Kavanaugh.

A majority with her is no majority at all. Remember Jim Jeffords in 2001? Just reelected “republican” senator becomes an independent.

I’d rather be rid of her permanently.

Sigh...as much I would like to see Collins lose, we will almost certainly hold the Senate if she wins. I suppose it’s better having a Senator that will vote with us half the time than one that will vote with us none of the time.

She is going to win Maine, she always pulls in off.

Every election she is down x number and on election day she ends up winning.

I want her to win, this is blue state, even if she is with us 70% of the time, it is still better then the rat that will be with us never.

I would rather keep this blue state seat out of the hands of a ‘rat socialist

Think about that for a moment.

Collins is worth it. No ambassadorship if she loses. SCOTUS vote.

We need Collins to win as she will not go for court packing.

Interestingly, Collins did feel the same about Trump and Hillary Clinton and refused to vote for POTUS in 2016. Given that I couldn’t care less if she wins or not.

Gideon stopped a bill in the Maine Senate to outlaw female genital mutilation.

And make no mistake Sarah Gideon is a hard core leftist who appears to be a moderate.

The single most important vote a GOP senator can cast in any year is for Majority or Minority leader. She has never failed to vote for the GOP candidate. She doesn’t vote for Schumer. She votes for McConnell and he determines the Senate agenda. Without McConnell, we would not have Kavanaugh and ACB.

That’s because of her.

You guys are shallow thinkers. Want rid of her permanently? You’ll get a Dem permanently. That’s a blue state. It requires an extraordinary skillset to win that seat for 18 years.

She represents her voters. You don’t like how she votes? Get on a plane and persuade her voters rightward. Not doing that? Then it’s your fault. Not hers.

We want her to Win. Gideon would be an absolute nightmare.

The ads that show Gideon protected a pedo perv when she was speaker long enough for her to gain political advantage I think are what will win it assuming Collins wasn't going to win anyway.

Gideon acts like a cute little friendly girl in her ads. Quite disingenuous even for a Dem is what it looks like to me.

Also I'm SURE Collins vote against ACB was a friendly agreement among Republicans and had Trump's blessing. Whatever Collins did to get herself square in the middle of the highway is her own problem, but we need her ... for now.
