How can they possibly disenfranchise thousands of American voters in one fell swoop?
Feds need to go in and open Federal facilities to handle the voting.

As a solution, polling places may be consolidated during the primaries in multiple states, such as in Atlanta and Milwaukee. Primaries? The primaries ended months ago.
I think someone did a cut a paste job to create this "news" article as a means of voter suppression on Election Day.

The same analysis also revealed that communities with larger proportions of people of color have also experienced higher rates of polling place shutdowns, leading to more fears of voter suppression............Black Hawk County is one of the most diverse areas in Iowa and has seen larger portions of polling place closures. So this could end up hurting the Democrats more?

The America Donald Trump seeks to restore always honored high achievers as role models, and constitutionally forbad any tax that would redistribute the fruits of their achievement. In an envy & hate driven attack on the American culture, the new Left of the Clintons, Obamas & Bidens, seeks to put a ceiling on individual achievement and tear down what is left of our heritage. The American achievement--the future of any American achievement--is the issue.
Next Tuesday, God willing, the real America will prevail. There must never be a Governmental attack on individual achievement again!

Historically, the Rat turnout has been higher for early voting, with Republicans turning out the day of the election.

Oh, shit, so what? We've had smallpox, TB, typhus, diphtheria, and flu epidemics throughout our entire history and not shut down for them. We've just quarrantined the infected people and treated them while going on with our ordinary lives, including regularly having elections. At age 77 I'm in a vulnerable category and protect myself my limiting my contacts.
To: SJackson
We all knew this was coming. Thats why smart Republicans voted early.

They close polling places on Election Day that creates with them a myriad of legal problems.

You want to see rioting in the streets? Prohibit voting in person on Election Day.

Yes just one of the plans. Fear lies and plain just closing poll locations. Banana republic.

A load of rubbish.
If you can go to the groceries every week to buy food, you sure as heck can go vote in person once every 2 or 4 years.
Under no circumstances should any polling station be closed. This is far more important than merely going to the grocery to buy food.
To: rfp1234
Exactly. This may be intended to suppress Election Day Republican voters, but it will have the opposite effect and will backfire. Only the Democrats thinking they have it in the bag anyway will stay home and not go the extra mile to vote.

....
This year THE GOP has had large numbers of early voting. Everything is different now!

Black Hawk County = Waterloo. It’s been a reliably Democrat city for years.

That has not been the case in Florida this year or NC.

This is one of the reasons why everyone on our side needs to vote early in person if possible. The Dems know lots of our people are waiting to vote on election day, and they will do what they can to depress the election day vote. Thats not even mentioning how some on our side will get sick or be involved in accidents by election day, regardless of how much they wanted to vote.
Vote as soon as possible, folks; we can take no chances with even one vote.
