Former Democratic presidential candidate Marianne Williamson justified another night of riots and looting in Philadelphia by claiming that theres nothing in the Bible which tells people not to steal.
Yes, really.
Numerous stores were trashed and looted while police officers were attacked again in response to the shooting of Walter Wallace Jr., who was killed after advancing towards officers with a knife.
One of the stores targeted was Chick-fil-A, despite its CEO Dan Cathy previously shining a black rappers shoes in a pro-Black Lives Matter stunt.
Responding to the looting, Williamson took to Twitter to declare, There are people in this country more concerned about a Walmart being looted than about an innocent man being killed. Many of them tout the Bible, but Thou shall not loot is not in there. Thou shalt not kill sure is.
Apparently, Williamson is unaware of the Ten Commandments, one of which literally states, Thou shalt not steal.
When respondents pointed out Williamsons embarrassing mistake, she was forced to correct herself, tweeting, Actually, Thou shalt not steal is of course in there. But my point about priorities remains the same.
Apparently, the priority for many in Philly over the last two nights has been to secure some fresh new Jordans from Footlocker and whatever was left to loot at Walmart.
All in the name of justice and Black Lives Matter, of course.
Bible says treat your slaves with kindness.
Hey! BLM! You thugs just got an open invitation to loot and steal from a wealthy white woman. Have at it!!
What are the Ten Commandments of the Bible? The Ten Commandments are summarized as:
1. You shall have no other gods before God.
2. You shall not make or worship graven images.
3. You shall not take Gods name in vain.
4. Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy.
5. Honor your father and mother.
6. You shall not murder.
7. You shall not commit adultery.
8. You shall not steal.
9. You shall not bear false witness (lie).
10. You shall not covet.
She should not mind if one of us comes over to her house and steals her car and big screen TV.
I need a newer car and a bigger TV.
Good. Lets go steal her stuff.
Oh, and BTW, start with her house ‘cuz she says it’s okay.
What is this moron’s address?
Does the Bible ever use the word rape?
If not, it must be OK then.
Overwhelmingly, the Bible is silent on stealing - except for those few instances when it is addressed, such as your 10 commandments citation (and the related tenth, about coveting). A tiny minority of the total word count.
This is akin to the mostly peaceful protesters, who spend a nearly insignificant amount of their day actually lighting fires, breaking windows, or sucker punching people. In many cases, only a minute or less of their whole day is spent on such activities - mere rounding error in the “minds” of liberals.
She’s a nutcase!
I knew I blocked her on twitter for a good reason.

How many times does it have to say stealing is wrong? In addition to the explicit command not to steal and not to covet another’s property, which is the precursor to theft, it also prohibits false weights and measures to used to steal small fractions at a time through deception. Yeah, I think it is pretty clear on theft.
Maybe her priorities remain the same. But to God, sin is sin!
Jesus says that the law states that one should not hate, but he says to us, the one who hates has already committed murder in his heart.
It’s sad to think that Marianne Williamson is demonstrably of sound mind, in the legal sense, while Joe Biden is not.
She actually would have campaigned instead of hiding in her basement.
And she would have nailed down the suburban white woman vote, full as it is of those who think like her, buy books and products like she sells and couldn’t live without their essential oils and candles.
If Biden loses, the Dems will be kicking themselves for not going with the craziest candidate in a crazy year.
From where did the word “Sodomite” originate???
And what did the Bible tell us happened there???
Makes sense now that she was Oprahs spiritual leader.
It’s the Seventh Commandment in the more traditional numbering system.
