Six charges total. Sentenced to:
Five years for shooting the dog.
Twenty years for armed carjacking and kidnapping.
I don't think he kidnapped the dog, either.
Should have gotten longer for killing the dog.
25 years? No way. He’ll get a pardon and a new gun the minute the next democrat is elected president.

Frankly, while i do think we need to punish people for this, 25 years in prison for shooting a dog is excessive. We don’t put people in jail that long for shooting actual people.
Ah. My bad. I thought it was 25 years just for killing the dog. 5 years is probably a good sentence for the dog’s death.
There are a lot of people who don’t understand what the very real difference is between a police dog and an ordinary dog.

You send an animal after a human, you cannot expect that human to do anything other than defend itself...
I am all for law and order, but to say your base instincts to survive when you have an animal attacking you makes you a cop murderer is nonsense.

I just thought it was funny.
Probably because my dogs always thought that the highest compliment for them was “being tricky”.
So the police can walk on anyone’s property and shoot the property owners dog for absolutely no reason other than to establish who’s in charge. It has happened so many times it is almost a joke.
But some kid, regardless of his background get 25 years for shooting a police dog???????? It’s a f*cking dog! people rarely gets 25 years for killing a human being!
This is how you get Black Lives Matter and the whole racial injustice movement. The perp may or may not be black or any minority but this is absurd. The judge needs to serve this sentences for being so completely moronic.
