Did Ted Cruz mention the Tucker Carlson Bobulinski interview and ask if Twitter was going to allow or repress tweets about those stories? This is the biggest treasonous scandal of the past 150 years and every mainstream outlet is suppressing it.

Dorsey and the others are just taking the attitude that everyone knows what they are doing but nobody can do anything about it. Rather than give good responses, they consider it a badge of leftist honor to respond in ways that everyone knows are inadequate and to be publicly excoriated for the cause. A kind of leftist martyrdom without having to die.
I’d love to see these tech companies given the same treatment that was given Ma Bell as well as repealing 230-I’d guess that anti-trust rules would apply...

I can understand the reason behind Section 230 - it is hard to police the content of millions (or now billions) of users on the various platforms. But it should not allow these companies free reign to censor or otherwise suppress speech that is not criminal, or potentially libelous.
It is “social media” and the whole idea is that bad ideas and bad speech will be policed “socially” by the users. If Person A tweets something stupid, Persons B-Z can respond. There is no need for the platforms to intervene. Users can follow or un-follow anyone they want.
The NYPost article is a perfect example. The NYPost doesn’t have liability protection, so if they do libel, they can be held liable. There is no reason for the platforms to censor or limits its viewing.

I still don’t understand the appeal of nose rings. My daughter has one so I’ve gotten used to it and now I don’t even notice it, but I still don’t get the “why,” lol.
