President Donald Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner boasted in mid-April about how the President had cut out the doctors and scientists advising him on the unfolding coronavirus pandemic, comments that came as more than 40,000 Americans already had died from the virus, which was ravaging New York City.
In a taped interview on April 18, Kushner told legendary journalist Bob Woodward that Trump was "getting the country back from the doctors" in what he called a "negotiated settlement." Kushner also proclaimed that the US was moving swiftly through the "panic phase" and "pain phase" of the pandemic and that the country was at the "beginning of the comeback phase." "That doesn't mean there's not still a lot of pain and there won't be pain for a while, but that basically was, we've now put out rules to get back to work," Kushner said. "Trump's now back in charge. It's not the doctors."

How many patients does WHO’s Dr Ted have?
RE: ‘back from the doctors’
What doctors? I don’t think he is referring to doctors like Dr. Vladimir Zelenko. He’s probably referring to Dr. Fauci.
If that is what Trump was doing back in April then it was an EPIC FAIL.
He need to give it another shot.
This is junk news as usual from CNN......an effort to put a wedge between Jarad and Trump as well as the voters.
Wish we’d just quite running CNN’s garbage..
Shapiro interviewed Kushner on his podcast last week. It is worth a listen and I thought it was one of the more revealing interviews that explains Trump and what makes Trump tick.
Very interesting interview without the animus from the right (that is usually posted here about all things Kushner) or the animus from the leftist media.
I came away with a different opinion of Kushner and even more faith in Trump. Not saying he would be a standard bearer for conservatism, but he made a terrific case for Trump and how Trump approaches a problem.
Adam Schiffhead knew during the Trump impeachment sham trial about the contents of Hunter Biden’s compromising laptop. The FIB has had it since last year.

It will take YEARS to stop big Pharma and big Medica. I suspect that once re-elected, we will see much more.
Dr Atlas was a good start. And perhaps people do not realize how massive a shot across the bow HCG/zinc was to the power of big Pharma. Zinc inhibits RNA virus replication. If everyone keeps up their levels of zinc, the case for vaccines (not just cv-19) is MUCH reduced; this will result in much lower profits from all the chronic illness brought on by over-vaccination.

Suddenly, six months later, this requires three of Clinton-Non-News' staff to write a story about it? October non-surprise.
Partisan Media Shills update.
There is actually more audio in the article where Kushner is saying that Trump has received bad advice from overconfident idiots, he’s finally getting a team together that knows who the boss is, etc., in order to show that Trump has taken over the party as if that’s a bad thing. He slams the Republican platform for being made by activists and ignoring what people really care about. I just couldn’t post it because of length restrictions.
Yes, Dr. Atlas was a good start. Wish we saw more of him.
I suspect Fauci has six more days to play fearmonger before he’s sent to the showers.
Kushner is correct, the country DOES need to be taken back from the doctors.
Doctors think in narrowly focused terms. They are singularly ill-suited to the task of governance.
#theBobulinskistorydidntkillitself
I know. Anyone who doesn’t already see the DOJ and FBI as completely compromised after this simply will never see it.
I first thought that it said #Bobulinskididntkillhimself, and thought “That’s not even funny.”
But I have heard he as a team of ex-SEALs guarding him so he is protected from committing suicide.
FBI = F**kers who Bury the Incrimination
And the problem is???
I know our society is all sciencey now, but I dont recall many elected doctors writing, enforcing, and interpreting laws.
The local, county health directors are the biggest menace. Mine is way in over his head. He’s claiming 4 feet between desks at school is “required” and that the “state” requires it—but the state requires no such thing and nothing is in writing.
Now this health director is sending “secret” emails to the Superintendent of my son’s district. The Super won’t release them.
The county health directors are largely in over their heads. Mine is just a family doctor—not elected and not an epidemiologist or an expert in any way.
We (parents trying to reopen schools) are going to file a FOIA request.
Bureaucrats are going to “bureaucrat.”
The public health agencies are full of bureaucrats from top to bottom. They derive their power from other bureaucrats higher on the totem pole than them (the state). Many of the state bureaucrats (blue states mostly) justify their actions by the doom doctors in DC and the media.
This is why bureaucracies with a rigid chain of command (like the USSR or CCP or the postal service) ultimately fail. There is no room for innovation or self-initiation.
This is on a macro scale why the military forces of bureaucracies fail. They suck because junior people are incapable of making a decision and they spend more time looking for top-cover or protecting their own ass than they do analyzing a problem and formulating an action.
Without “commanders intent” and initiative, the bureaucrat inevitably seeks higher guidance to cover his/her own ass. It is the most inefficient model in human history even without wholesale corruption.
