SJackson, PP, I'm pinging you just so that you would know about this as it may come up in other contexts
To Judgem --> these people definitely do NOT represent all Jews worldwide. however they claim to and officially do, represent the small Jewish community in Warsaw
To me, this is appalling in three ways
Lesław Piszewski
Lesław Piszewski (born 1958) - Polish activist of the Jewish community, in the years 1997-1999 and again from 2018 chairman and in 2014-2018 vice-chairman of the Jewish Religious Community in Warsaw, in 2014-2019 chairman of the Union of Jewish Religious Communities in Poland
In 1999 and 2001 he was a Nahum Goldmann Fellow, and in 2000 and 2002 a Community Service Scholarship He was the chairman of the Jewish Religious Community in Warsaw and a member of the board of the Union of Jewish Religious Communities in Poland
On April 11, 2014, he became the vice-president of the Jewish Community in Warsaw [4]. On November 30, 2014, he became the chairman of the Union of Jewish Religious Communities in Poland [1].
He is a founding member of B'nai B'rith Polska, reactivated in 2007.

He should be ashamed of putting the name of the "Jewish community of Warsaw" to his letter -- he is sullying the name
Though I vehemently disagree with their position..it’s murder...they are allowed their opinion.
And it seems like anti-Semitism must be alive and well there to be set off by this.
Perhaps the younger generation there is pro abortion also.
I’m guessing I know which group would be attacked first and be the only ones attacked for their position.
The legal position of Judaism is abortion is immoral, except for when the mother's life is in danger at which point it becomes a self defense issue.
When my wife was pregnant she told me in no uncertain terms that if she was unconscious and I had to make a choice between her life and the baby I was to choose the child.
The maternal equivalent of falling on a grenade.
