I hate pennies too!
But I don’t know if I hate them, hate them. They are annoying little pocket fillers but they’re also useful to throw at annoying people.
Nothing suits an annoying person better than for them to have to deal with the annoyance of a penny thunking into their head from some unknown source. Repeatedly. As often as you can without the annoyer figuring out from whence they come.
So, pennies do have their use.
To annoy the annoying.
A sublime joy.
PS. Am I the only one that as a kid, thought sub lime meant lemon?

Well, I actually never even thought about the word sub lime when I was a kid, but I wish I had known about that penny-annoying trick. I could have used it...a LOT! LOL!
