I never cared much for candied apples. I’m not big on apples to begin with but like to eat one once in a while.

I’ve been checking news since I didn’t get a chance all day and have watched a couple of important videos. Now that I can check on Steve, his stream has ended. But I have the replay going now.
I did the grocery shopping tonight while it’s dry and was surprised at how warm it is. It was still 70 degrees at 9:00.
We’re getting a few little showers now from the very outer bands of Zeta. Gonna be right soggy here for a couple of days.
Have you gotten any icy stuff today?

Right at the end he mentioned all the people stranded after the rally while waiting on buses to take them to the parking area. That is very concerning! The president will feel awful if anyone becomes critical because of it.

I hadn’t reached the end but went forward to it. YIKES!!!! This wasn’t a good night for a rally to begin with. The President sure didn’t need to be outside in that kind of weather. I hope he doesn’t get sick, and I hope they’ve managed to get all those freezing folks out of there and taken care of.

No problem for him, I don’t think. He had the helicopter waiting just outside the venue. But all those poor people in that terribly cold weather. They’re tough, but don’t know if they’re THAT tough!
We actually have been very lucky so far with this weather situation. Many parts of Lawton, Wichita Falls and Oklahoma City are still without power this morning. There's another batch of freezing rain moving towards us. However we are at 34 degrees here so it should be rain here.
Ready for all of this to clear out so we can get back to normal.

I just can’t help but fret a little about him being in the cold and damp for any length of time right now. It hasn’t been that long since he was in the hospital. Just the “momma” in me, I guess, even though he’s older than I am. LOL
Glad your luck seems to be holding up. The weather’s been nasty over thataway and it’s not over yet.
We have some of the first rain from Hurricane Zeta closing in at a fast clip.
Poor Gizmo didn’t look very happy to be out there yesterday. “What did you do with our nice warm weather??”
I wish he’d “put a lid on it” for at least a day to get rest, but people like him seem to thrive on activity and large crowds showing love.
Thank goodness this stupid election is nearly over! I’ve never been so tired of one, LOL!

I’m off to get ready for dreamland too. I’ve caught up on the day’s news as best I can and am out of steam. At least I get to sleep in tomorrow for a change. Am I ever ready for THAT!
