It’s hard to imagine a nightime rally outdoors with a temperature just above freezing that has 29,000 attending. They have been standing outdoors for 3-4 hours already before the start. How many will have hypothermia?? The whole thing boggles the mind! In my youth I did nighttime moonlight cross-county skiing but generated my own heat. But just standing?? WOW.
They dance, clap, and jump up-and-down a lot.
They also aren’t exactly ‘socially distanced’. Body Heat.
(It’s a ‘peaceful protest, you know; so it’s allowed...:-)
I waited on line for 4 hours yesterday to vote...it was in the 50s and drizzling and when I got home I thought I was about to die. Then I thought of these amazing patriots waiting hours in the freezing cold at night for a rally and I shut up.
Grew up in Chicago. Spent my whole childhood outside.
They know how to dress
Although....their noses seem to be getting read 😩
These are definitely huddled masses.
