A retired police officer and Texas poll watcher submitted a sworn affidavit to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office earlier this month alleging that he personally witnessed an election judge and staff members committing voter fraud.

I bet there are Texas counties, especially around Metro areas that have more voted than registered.

Our national voting “system” is a mess.
We hold ourselves up as a model democracy around the world but can’t even manage to ensure integrity of our own elections.
Harris County, where Houston is located, is also the site where the Joe Biden campaign’s Texas political director Dallas Jones is accused of running an illegal ballot harvesting operation, according to two separate affidavits submitted to the Texas Supreme Court by former law enforcement officials.
Good! It’s nice to see people taking action.
It probably won’t amount to anything, but at least they know people ARE watching them!

This story is someone dated now. This a good reminder though. What I have not heard is any official reaction to the story.
All we get is the DOJ telling us that there is no vote fraud.

1. We're not a Democracy... we're a Republic with democratic processes (Article IV, Section 4).
2. This is by design. We can have the best, most secure elections imaginable. The fact that we don't is a design feature, not a flaw.
I knew someone would say that and ignore the larger point of my post. In short many consider the United States to be both a democracy and a republic, but to avoid an unnecessarily lengthy discussion/treatise on our form of government I chose democracy to keep things simple.
Feel free to expound and/or elucidate on the topic to your heart’s content.

Thanks. I understand and think its great that some posters are so well informed about our structure of government. Believe me, I’ve been ‘schooled’ on this topic a number of times, but as I said I like to keep things pithy as BOR was fond of saying. ;)
