I’m still hoping and praying that we win the WH. However, if not, thank God there a likely majority on the Supreme Court (”likely” as I don’t trust Roberts)
Now 5 GOP Justices besides Roberts so you need to distrust more than 1 (Gorsuch?).
I don't trust Roberts, Gorsuch, or Kavanaugh. As far as I'm concerned we have an equally divided 3-3-3 court, consisting of three solid conservatives (Barrett, Thomas, Alito), three center-right swing votes (Roberts, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh), and three hardcore marxists (Breyer, Sotomayor, Kagan)
I seriously doubt we went from Warren Burger Court 2.0 to "cementing a conservative majority for decades" overnight because one seat changed, even though Barrett appears to be a VAST improvement over Darth Bader.
Right now, I would say Trump's track record on SCOTUS judges is only 1 out of 3. Similar to the level of Ike's SCOTUS picks (I think 2 out of 5 or 6 of them were good)
Time will tell if I'm right.
