With nine days left before the 2020 election, former Vice President Joe Biden is off the campaign trail without any in-person events scheduled.
On Sunday, Biden’s campaign called a “lid” on in-person campaigning for the day. A “lid” usually also means the campaign will not conduct press conferences or dispense press releases the remainder of the day. Biden’s campaign clarified that this was not a “full lid” since the former vice president would speak to supporters late-Sunday evening at a virtual “I will vote” concert.
Given that the general election is slightly more than a week away, the news of Biden’s “lid” elicited rebuke on social media from some reporters and supporters of President Donald Trump.

He is in serious trouble!
He doesn’t want to face the tough questions.
He puts a lid on his campaign for the same reason you put a lid on a garbage can to keep the rats out and the stink in. There really isn’t any “Biden Campaign” except for the one that the media is running on his behalf, and I’m sure they are going to do everything in their power to keep this frail, failing old man afloat until November 4th.
Biden is suspending his campaign until after the election.
Pass it on.
My guess is they know they are gonna lose, so save all that travel expense campaign money, because they do get to keep leftovers.
AND they also know that any ill-gotten dough will be immediately seized by the government so it won’t be available to them any more to pay high priced lawyers.....................

The guy had 3 gaffs in 4 days - Kill oil, voter fraud Org, Chumps, and now the run against GWB gaff. You have to put a cone of silence around the guy.

Having completed the final presidential debate, Biden’s campaign has now announced they’re calling a lid until Election Day.
“Biden needs the next eleven days to prepare for his acceptance speech,” Biden’s campaign manager Jen O'Malley Dillon told reporters as she kept an eye on poll numbers. “So do not try to ask him questions or get statements from him, because that’s just going to confuse him.”
Dillon then offered that reporters could instead talk to Kamala Harris, but no one wanted to talk to Kamala Harris. They really had a number of questions for Biden, but Dillion explained that there is now a time lock on Biden’s basement and that it would be impossible to open the door and get to him before Election Day evening. “Just basic campaign stuff,” Dillion explained.
There really isn’t any “Biden Campaign” except for the one that the media is running on his behalf .....

And that’s why you want to keep him [Biden] off the stump. Rely instead on press+social media+FBI for disinformation and censorship, vote by mail for chaos, BLM/Antifa for violence, & back-channel to DoD. That’s the real Harris-Biden (3d Obama term) campaign.
