ROFL “toobing”. I’m so stealing that one!
In my experience, The women most offended by “Mansplaining” are precisely the ones most in need of it.
We dont have a manterrupter problem ... we have a newsplaining problem.
Todays so-called journalists do not ask questions soliciting information. They frame a narrative and then expect the interviewee to respond. When Leslie Stahl expressed surprise that VP Pence wife Karen was a teacher and teaching in person now, an actual interviewers next question would have been something like ...... how are things going at her school during Covid .... instead Leslie Stahl just went back to her prearranged interrogation. I saw this in the unedited version that Trump released. I wonder if Pences statement about Karen being a teacher even made it to last nights broadcast.
That was not the interview I saw.
Social science studies suggest that men interrupt women 33 percent more than they interrupt other men.
Was the interview supposed to be social, or did it have a point?
That quite aside from the actual content, and failure of Stahl to even be aware of many of the subjects she tried to correct the President on.
Typical nbc stinkin’ BS.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

2 Cor 10:3-6
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
Weasel word
How else would we EVER get a word in edgewise??
Where the 'study' that shows men will interrupt a 'persistant' , uninformed, one-side person loaded with GOTHCA questions more often than a reasonable person?
My experience in meetings is that women just will not stop talking, and you HAVE TO interrupt occasionally.
Listen to women converse. They talk over each other constantly.
I’ve grown to like email and text messaging. I can actually get my point across that way.
Her "work", is that what they're calling nonsensical blather these days?
We men like to get to the point. And if one of those dreadful meetings is required, we want it to be productive. Ideally, one person says something, another builds on it or counters it quickly, blah, blah, blah. And sometimes youre going to interrupt each other, especially if one is being verbose. Many women dont like that.
Lynn, make me a...no...I’ll make my own.
Ninety percent of feminist got their positions the old fashioned way, on their backs.
Bless her heart....
I would have walked out after her 2nd interruption—and I am female.
Just her tone of voice was disrespectful.
“manterrupter problem”
Hello...The proper role of an interviewer is to ask questions, and then wait for the answers. We’re trying to find out what the interviewee thinks and knows.
It’s not a lecture; it’s not a speech; it’s not a debate. It’s not a battle between boys and girls. It’s not yet another venue for the interviewer to spout off their opinion. Leslie failed, over and over and over again, to do her job. If she wanted to let us know what *she* thinks, there was no need to invite Trump to sit there next to her. But she knows that if he wasn’t there, almost no one would tune in to listen.
