NBC News Opinion: Trump's '60 Minutes' interview underscores America's ongoing manterrupter problem

I watched the interview. Trump would make a statement-”-my rallies are the biggest and most enthusiastic I’ve ever had.” Stahl would immediately interrupt him to contradict him. “The Democrats were spying on my campaign.” No they weren’t says Stahl. This went on and on. Then Stahl said Trump urged his supporters to lock up the idiot governor of Michigan. She suggested Trump was inciting his supporters to violence against Democrat politicians. Trump repeatedly insisted it was his Justice Department that was prosecuting those involved in the plot. Stahl would have none of it. Her clear implication was that Trump’s supporters were an out-of-control bunch of hooligans and murders.

This was the pattern. Stahl would make an outrageous premise to her “question.” Trump would attempt to refute it. Stahl would call him essentially a liar. At which point he’d had enough and politely ended the interview. At the end Kayleigh handed Stahl and foot high document listing Trump’s proposals for health care improvement. Stahl tacked on a comment that it was mostly executive orders and Republican proposals—no comprehensive, organized plan. No wonder Trump left.

Maybe that's because there's no need to interrupt other men?
