Biden Campaign Breaks Record for Most Money Spent on Television Ads
Breitbart ^ | October 25 2020 | AMY FURR

Former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign has shelled out more money for television and digital advertising than any presidential candidate in the nation’s history, the Hill reported Friday. “Biden’s campaign has spent more than $582 million on television advertising since launching his campaign last year, according to data from the nonpartisan firm Advertising Analytics. In just the last week, Biden’s team spent $45 million on air,” the article said.

The amount surpasses President Donald Trump’s campaign, which reportedly spent $342 million over the past two years.

“The two sides dropped $160 million on television and digital ads in just the past seven days. Trump spent slightly more than Biden on Facebook and Google advertising, the data shows — $14 million versus about $12.7 million,” the Hill article continued.

Not surprising that the Biden campaign would lie about their contributions. I still insist though we vote like President Trump is behind. Their lies on contributions simply shows they are willing to do anything to win. We need to vote to the man.

Campaign rallies are great, but the largest such rally would be between 30,000-40,000 people. Definitely a huge indication of enthusiasm, but also just that - an indication.

You don't seem to get it.
The election is not won by the national popular vote. Its won by winning at the county and state level and collecting electoral votes.
Between Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, Trump won by just 140,000 votes in 2016.
Trump is now doing 3 rallies a day at carefully chosen locations in vital swing states in counties that he needs to increase his winning margin at or catch up in.
That is what is going to win the elections. It's not the 3 to 4 million winning margin by the Dems in California. That doesn't really count for much.
Biden’s mass blanketing of the air waves with repetitive lies is not going to do it. People tune off after a while.
Just a couple of massive Trump rallies negates all that. Trump has got more enthusiasm going for him than any Presidential candidate I can remember. Biden on the other hand can't get a rise out of anybody. He is a "hold your nose and vote for him if you have to" kind of guy. .
Nobody ever won the presidency by hiding in the basement with people only voting for him, not because they want him, but because they hate the other guy.

Of course.
We've got to give Trump the highest voter turn out ever. Vote like we are behind by 20 points. Vote like your life depends on it because it really does.

I tell you how Trump could get just as much air/face time as Biden. Have Mike Lyndel, My Pillow man, wear a MAGA hat in his very saturated commercial slots. I guarantee you he has more air time than Biden could ever pay for

Same here. And I saw hardly any Trump ads last weekend. Either his campaign is out of money or he is being censored.

It seems obvious the big donors like the Kochs have boycotted the Trump campaign. The only pro Trump pac ads have I seen in great numbers are from the NRA. The rest of the mainline GOP has taken a powder in the hopes Biden will win.

Mr. Trump has been aided by late spending by Preserve America PAC, a pro-Trump group that received $75 million from Republican megadonors Sheldon and Miriam Adelson.

Every time I hafta go into Winston Salem to take the old man in for treatment most of the e-billboards are littered with anti-Trump ads.
A lot of those "I'm a conservative and I'm voting for Biden" BS ads. It's tedious.

The places ya see the most Biden/Harris signs are amongst the usual suspects. But there's a few "out here". Fools..

Here in PA the ads run constantly.

And yet the polls say Biden is way ahead in PA.

I think the Biden campaign’s internal polls are more accurate and less optimistic. Otherwise why spend all of that money?

I’ve worked in radio now for nearly 40 years. Back in the mid 90s I was working at a country music station that had been dominant for quite a few years. A new station came into town and decided the way to beat us was to do a car giveaway. They advertised the heck out of it and did, in fact, give away a car. When the ratings came out a month or two later, we still creamed them. Why? Good programming always beats gimmicks.

This analogy holds true in the Presidential election. The President has good “programming” and that means a solid product.

Yes.
Plus you really can't hide in your basement and win a presidential election. Not in America. Not in any country that I know of.
No matter how many ads you run on the air.
A real great big Trump rally will trump a TV ad every time.
Reminds me of 1948 when Harry Truman worked really hard traveling and campaigning everywhere in the country, despite every poll saying he was going to lose. His opponent Dewey was so sure he would win(the media and the polls kept telling him that), he never really campaigned that hard.
Who won?
Harry Truman did.
The newspapers were so sure Dewey would win, they even printed the headlines saying Dewey had won, before the results were in
