Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden slammed the recent reports of his son Hunter’s overseas business dealings, calling them a “smear campaign” and arguing that the information is part of a Russian disinformation campaign.
Speaking on CBS’s “60 Minutes,” the former vice president lambasted the reports and cast blame on President Trump’s personal attorney, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who Biden said is being duped by the Russians.
“From what I've read and know the intelligence community warned the president that Giuliani was being fed disinformation from the Russians,” Biden said. "We also know that-- Putin is trying very hard to spread disinformation about Joe Biden… And so when you put the combination of Russia, Giuliani-- the president, together-- it's just what it is.
Biden added: “It's a smear campaign because he has nothing he wants to talk about.”

Assertions without evidence and fabricated evidence are the fodder upon which the MSM thrives.
This a flat out lie.
That 60 Minutes has to run interference for Biden, to have him try and explain away the laptop from hell, shows that the torpedoes struck the Biden campaign amidships. Now, the more Biden explains he is not a crook, the more people will doubt him. After all, he was just caught in a lie about fracking in the debate.
