Hi Everybody!
(((HUGS)))
Bible in a Year:
Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted.
During a trip to celebrate our twenty-fifth anniversary, my husband and I read our Bibles on the beach. As vendors passed and called out the prices of their wares, we thanked each one but didnt buy anything. One vendor, Fernando, smiled wide at my rejection and insisted we consider buying gifts for friends. After I declined his invitation, Fernando packed up and began walking away . . . still grinning. I pray God will bless your day, I said.
Fernando turned toward me and said, He has! Jesus changed my life. Fernando knelt between our chairs. I feel His presence here. He then shared how God had delivered him from drug and alcohol abuse more than fourteen years earlier.
My tears flowed as he recited entire poems from the book of Psalms and prayed for us. Together, we praised God and rejoiced in His presence . . . on la playa.
Psalm 148 is a prayer of praise. The psalmist encourages all of creation to praise the name of the Lord, for at his command [everything was] created (v. 5), for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens (v. 13).
Though God invites us to bring our needs before Him and trust He hears and cares for us, He also delights in prayers of grateful praise wherever we are. Even on the beach.
What will you praise God for today? How has He inspired you to praise Him after hearing someone elses story?
Help me praise You with every breath Youve given me, God.

GMTA! Good evening, Bonemaker...we like the same photo. LOL!
Thanks for sharing that exhibit.
Was O’Hare Int’l Airport named for Lt. O’Hare? (Many CTA busdrivers and conductors used to pronounce it “O’Hara.” The soulless automated system did away with that beloved little quirk.)
It’s one of the few things Chicago has done right!
Good evening, Janey...((HUGS))...are you back to cross country flying yet?
How many on the jump plane at at time? Do the same guys jump more than once a day?
Hai Kathy!! Ya, just back early AM and went straight to the airfield - had lunch then got on the schedule; we usually have ten to twelve at a time in the Caravan. We go up to 10K feet and throw them out LOL.
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...it’s raining here.
Did you and Blue get out?
Snow is supposed to be on its way tonight, but turn back to rain mid-morning.
It was cold and gloomy today, so I stayed inside and watched the Trump Rally in New Hampshire.
Then the President hopped in his plane and went to Bangor, ME, 55 miles from my sister who lives in the North Woods. I called her, but is was too late for her to attend...the President had already moved on.
So close!
Welcome to the Canteen, Blurb2350...
“Designed to be the successor to Chicago’s “busiest square mile in the world”, O’Hare began as an airfield serving a Douglas manufacturing plant for C-54 military transports during World War II. It was named after Edward “Butch” O’Hare, the U.S. Navy’s first Medal of Honor recipient during that war.”

Hope the BLM/Antifca don’t destroy this monument.
Wow! What a hero!
Good evening, Mayor, and thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
Hope you’ve gotten some good rest this weekend.
Stay warm as it gets colder.
