Biden finally pulled the Nazi card when describing President Trump.
Sadly, this has become common throughout both the mainstream and social media. With both sides calling the other Nazis, it might be a good time to ask some fundamental questions: Who were the Nazis, and what do they stand for? Few people can answer that correctly, despite their strong emotional attachment painting their political foes as such.
To understand the Nazis accurately, you have to read their own quotes and propaganda. The story told by the Nazis themselves depicts a very different party than what modern journalists would like us to believe. The Nazi (National Socialist German Workers Party) or National Socialists as they called themselves, had the following five key characteristics:

The Nazis were violently opposed to the Communists, not because of ideology, but rather they were both competing for the same block of voters. Without a majority, neither side could grasp power. Once they gained control, the Nazis never allowed another election.

Much of what Goebbels knew of propaganda, he learned from Woodrow Wilson's de facto propaganda ministry, the Committee on Public Information.
Summed up in one word.... DEATH.
Goebbels was a Democratic Socialist, just like the Democratic Socialists of the Democratic Party.
It doesn’t help that much of the history is written by Communists.

In the case of the 1930s Nazis I believe the nationalistic thing was more tactical than strategic. The Nazis wanted power and control. To gain power in Germany they had to appeal to the German people. Ergo, they had to give the German people a reason to back them. But their sights were set much higher (see other points in the excellent article).
They hated Jews because they were capitalists or communists? Or both? Or just because they hated Jews?
Communists, Nazis and Antifa use perceived racism and classism to consolidate power. Pure and simple. In every society that possesses wealth, there will be an element whose envy and jealousy will motivate them to take it. Convincing people that wealth is not created but is always stolen from others is the big lie, and anyone who promotes a work ethic is the enemy.

That is because they are neo marxists, not Nazi exactly. The only real difference between National Socialists and Socialist/ Communists is the Nacional vs Internacional.
Marx conceived communism as Global, International movement.

Lenin corrected Marx in one point - revolution can be done in one country only. But he still believed in world revolution. That why he exported the revolution all over the world with terrible consequences. Soviet people were starving to death, but Soviet Union was giving free food and guns to revolutionaries all over. Communist party USA was on payroll.
Hitler corrected Marx and Lenin in two points - socialism is National, forget the world revolution.
One does not need to totally expropriate all means of production. Private industry can be forced to work for socialism. By oppression and regulation.
Modern neo marxists shere the global ideas with Marx and Lenin, but the the way to run the economy with Nazi.
So they are actually a modern blend of Communist and Nazies.
Neo marxists is really the proper name they should be given!
